What's wrong with hockey quebec thread ?

My take:

No Atom AA, it's ridicous the amount of double letter kids atom A who are held out of double letters because there's no atom AA.

At that age the gap is small, and players can improve quickly, and make the jump quickly.

No contact till Bantam double letters: the kids don't get stronger till a later age because they can get by on talent untill bantam, instead of atom.

Low # of games, double letter teams only play 30 regular season games, whereas in Ontario the number is 50.

No Bantam AAA: the top AA's should not be destroying AA, they should be playing against the best of their age.

Politics.....

Anyone else care to share their opinion ?

I will try to do so.

Our arena hours are effin filled from 1 AM to Midnight so even if you wanted to play more games, you could not make 12yo kids play from 23h to 00h on a monday night.

It is also true that hockey parents don't help it. I work for a school board and can tell you that the mentality of : I had sex, I got a baby, it's not 5yo started school and it's about time society takes it from me and starts taking care of it.

That's a good point but isnt it the same everywhere ?
