last time i checked, blunden had 4 career goals. What does he bring to the table that Darche doesnt? Darche drives the net, play smart forecheck, knows how to screen properly the G. I dont know if you noticed, but since Mr Cunneyworth decided to put Blunden with Kostitsyn and Eller, that line has done nothing.
Currently a wash at best but down the road Bluden should be way better and more useful. As for Leblanc I figured he would be back up sooner rather then later.

We got pushed around by kaleta and gaustad yesterday 2 whimps. That line for Buffalo beat last night cause they able to do whatever they wanted and no one said a word on the habs. We need some toughness in our line up
Thank god Louis comes back. If I still see Blunden with Eller and Kostitsyn thursday...i'm gonna freak out. I'd much like have Darche with Eller and Kostitsyn than Blunden (which would be a good hardworking 4th liner and thats it).
On a side note, I don't know what to do with Plekanec. In the past 20 games or so, all he has been doing is dumping the puck on every single shift or so. Whats the problem?
Over 12 mill 2 players on the third line and play 12 mins , smart managment.
Plex is a good 2 way center, but if they can get a front line center with size i would be all for trading him and Ellar.
I would say Gionta, but for 5.5 mill you could do better then him for the third line.
The three players for the bottom 2 lines should be gretty with speed. A 13th forward that loves to drop the gloves

Go Darche Go ! We could use a team of 12 of them
neither of them is worth a **** when it comes to hockey

"pushed around" Not sure waht game you watched but those 2 didn't push anybody around. They hurled taunts and insults at the bench, hopefully both get the crap beaten out of them though.

Honestly, I think Darche is better than Blunden offensively and defensively but Blunden is far more physical and has 'size and youth'. I like Darche in his current role, he's been effective. I didn't like him when he was on the first line.
Weber scored against the Bruins, bumps him just ahead of Darche for me. Besides, doesn't he have the same amount of goals as Darche while playing forward?
Darche hasn't been better than anyone on this squad this year.
I've have never been a Darche hater. Didn't mind the guy at all. Hard worker.
But, the fact that I thought he has been injured or benched a lot this season (come to find out he has played 50 games) probably is not a good sign. I have watched at least 3/4 of the games this year and I think I maybe have one recollection of him.
It was a cool story, him making it and all, but he's done. Short and sweet. Bye bye Darche!

I wouldn't consider myself a hater. I loved him last year, but I think everyone knew he was playing above his head, much like moen this year with his 9 or so goals. I was glad to see him get his payday, but I was never for him having a guaranteed spot in the line up. He doesn't bring any particular skill to the table that we couldn't find in a younger, more promising player on the free agent market. We have a marked lack of toughness in the bottom 6, replacing Darche with a guy like Prust would do us some good.
