New York Rangers Casino Night

Anyone ever went for Casino Night and can share their experience? I wish I can afford $2,000 to go but its too expensive for me its $2,000 for one person for one night. I mean its for a good cause but wished they had events to meet the team in other ways. Lets go Rangers

There are lesser tickets you can get for $500 each. I've been to several of them, though I haven't gone the last couple years. It used to be $250 a ticket, but since they upped the price, I can't get anyone to go with me.

It's a fun experience though, and definitely worth doing at least once. They used to hold it in the lobby of the Paramount, which I liked better than Gotham Hall. You get to meet the players and in many cases they are playing the games with you, or dealing them. They usually have a number of items up for silent auction. I've gotten signed Kovy, Ovechkin and Sundin jerseys (they were cheaper than the Ranger ones).

At the end of the night, Sam em-cees a live auction where you can bid on stuff like a visit in the broadcast booth, zamboni rides for your kids, etc.

They give you a voucher for chips to start with as part of the ticket price, though you can buy more if you run out. At the end, you can take whatever you have left to use in random drawings for prizes (you can't cash out your winnings).

So with the $500 individual ace I will get to take photos with the players and all? I was confused because it says $2,000 to attend the pre event reception with the entire team.
