Redden: Gaborik and Richards combined for about 14 million dollars of cap space for absolute dog **** tonight.

A speed demon like Gaborik can get neutralized that way. Richards' is (was?) an elite playmaker who never in his career needed to create off the rush. Like Savard, he's always been good finding seams in traffic and setting up one timers.
I don't count that because in the playoffs it would have been the entire game.
Still, with the game on the line in the shootout and the pressure on he scored. He got it done when he had to. The same can't be said for Richards. Good players find a way to step up in pressure situations, and Gaborik displayed that in the SO tonight (only reliable SO player we've had this season).
Well, we sucked and walked away with 2 points. Makes up for last night. How lame was Richards' shootout attempt? These guys are NHL players but they look like PeeWees in shootouts. 3 points out of 4 is OK though.
It sickens me the lack of pure hockey talent/sick hands t a lot of players on this team have. Stepan, Richards, even Callahan and others have no sense in how to deke.
Take Richards for example. You can't fake a goalie with a sad, amateur move like that. You have to have some hands! Learn to deke! You're ****ing NHL pros for christsake! I face guys who could make silly moves that I've never seen many of our players do minus a select few.

Makes up for last night, where we deserved to win. I'm in disbelief we won this one.
Lundqvist was so far ahead of every other player out there, he was insane.
I thought Richards had his best game in his past 20 or so, but he was still mediocre. Hard to believe you can be in the NHL and think dekes like that pile of **** will work in the shootout.
McDonagh was the only dman that didn't make a retarded/huge mistake.
Every other player was awful. Easily the most angry I've been at this team in the 3rd.
