We've had Quick for a few great seasons now, but I'm still not used to not cringing when the puck enters our defensive zone. I remember how it used to be, with our goalies making everyone worry about routine saves.

Anyway, I'm really thankful and appreciative for that having been corrected.

Not at all. Voynov clearly got the puck first.

I still cringe, but we could have a prime Patrick Roy and I would be the same.

It looked like Voynov touched the puck as Nash was trying to shoot. That shouldn't have been a penalty if that's the case; if he didn't touch the puck, then yes it's a penalty.

Yeah, usually they don't call a penalty if they hit the puck first. Will give them a pass on that one though. At normal speed it looked like Voynov didn't touch the puck first. I'm sure the Kings will see a makeup call.

I don't get why Nash never asked for a trade. Seems like he's ok with losing.

I guess some players want to stay professional and commit to the contract they signed.

I can just see Dean in an interview going ..."and I look at this player, and I wonder why this kid doesn't want out. Does he not like the beach? Does he not like the weather? Is it hockey or personal, cause if its a hockey issue he's fine where he is, those things can be worked out internally. I see I've talked my way out of another one."

That's what they should do. Can't fault him for that.
