Gotta keep getting those wins. Lose a pair of games in this division and suddenly you are 4th place!

chicago has the oilers tonight so give them 2 points. we need atleast a point to stay in place. also, if only the damn canucks can win in regulation over detroit, that'd be swell.

Gotta keep pace with Chicago and Detroit. Philly has had shaky goaltending, that will be the difference tonight.

Would kind of be counter-productive with the way the 4th line played last night wouldn't it? Unless faceoffs are a legitimate concern, stay the course with the same lineup.

According to Paul McCann's pre-game blog on HockeyBuzz, both Bouillon and Smithson are in the lineup tonight...

one would think so.. but after yip's goal and assist on tuesday, i'm not sure who comes out? someone on the 4th line i'm sure.. i doubt it's halischuk again.. so either smith or yip.. i dont see how they pull smith out of the lineup after how he looked against minnesota. i wouldn't be surprised if smithson is scratched again.. if he's in, i suspect yip is the scratch.

smithson and bouillon both in? great, stick a fork in us.. we're done

im okay with bouillon in i guess as long as hillen is the scratch.. and smithson being in is whatever.. he will be an upgrade on the dot hopefully but i thought the 4th line was a big help in our comeback tuesday. smithson really knows how to kill any offensive output no matter where he is.. i feel bad for smith

Worked super hard. Hasn't netted any results recently, but he's one of the hardest workers out there (along with Smith). By sheer work he generates additional scoring chances we wouldn't otherwise have.

Dear god no! Two games ago he had an assist. Never break up that bourque spaling tootoo line. They bring the hustle

No way i would bench Smith, Yip, or Halischuk. They are all an upgrade, but if had to it would be Yip. When is Big ern going to get his hands dirty again??
Looking for a better start!

all indications point to Lindy starting tonight. We must really be shopping him to the Eastern Conference. Hey, he has to win one sometime, might as well be tonight!

I'm puzzled...

Joshua Cooper (Tennessean beat writer) claims that McGrattan & Lindback are playing tonight. That coupled with the earlier news of Smithson & Bouillon playing really makes me nervous.

Who does Trotz scratch? Hillen, Bourque, and Yip? I can't imagine any scenario where I would sit Halischuk or Smith in favor of McGrattan et al. Geez!

But, that's why we are only fans and they get paid the big bucks!

wow mcgrattan, smithson, bouillon, and lindback all in? are we trying to lose? ill be happy with 1 point. I guess mcgrattan is in because of philly's toughness and assuming shelley is in..

shelley vs mcgrattan .. its a lock
