I can't even deal with the main board anymore. It's full of people who detest the Kings and they want nothing more than to see them punished. They all act as if the Kings were the ones to stop the clock and not the officials. From now on for any call that goes against the Kings, I will be holding the other team personally responsible and not the officials.

They should investigate it, just to ensure it was a simple mechanical error and not human involvement. The fact their making it public is what is wrong.

And Lawyer Lombardi comes out. I bet he's laughing about that comment, and I bet the reporters had very few follow up questions to it. That's awesome.

They'll just rough you up. They want the big fish who actually stopped the clock...or adjusted the 'coulombs'

I imagine Dean was laughing typing out that response. I know I sure did reading it.

It's an elaborate way of Dean saying "**** off".

Everyone knows the Jackets got screwed. The Kings got screwed in Ottawa last year with a terrible high stick call. Karma is a boomerang.

My backround is math, physics, and law. The search for truth using empirical knowledge/evidence. The fanciful assumptions and conclusions already drawn are mind blowing to me given how little anyone truly knows of the event.
Yeah.

yeah, I decided I better stay away from that thread for now since I don't want to get any more infractions.

Blame LA because time keeper may have made a mistake... Time keeper is employed by NHL. Same thing with refs and toronto.

Does anyone have any images of the ice and the clock from a side angle at 1.8 seconds?

Welcome to the playoff race, of course other fans will be pissed we won in this fashion.

Also, Dean must be feeling pretty good about this team heading into the stretch run.

The real question in this situation is:

Would the hf server go down if it was a Canadian team involved instead of Columbus (like Canucks)?

Depends. Where are the servers hosted? Are they within range of an ICBM?

If they decide to do some sort of makeup game, it by NO MEANS would be screwing the kings, it would be the RIGHT thing to do, at least give columbus a point because technicallt LA won, but but after the 60th minute of the game, so count it as an overtime win......

COLUMBUS GOT F**KED by a glitch

So playing a full 60 minute make up game would some how be justice for 1.5 seconds slipping from the clock.

LOL come on man.

If they did a make of game that would be terrible. How about we go back to Ottawa last year and replay the game. Phoenix can come to LA and replay that game.

Yeah, playing an 83rd game wouldn't be screwing anybody at all. Except, you know, the two teams who have to play an extra game and add that fatigue. The last thing I think Columbus wants is for their season to have an extra game. How would that be fair?

The only way for fair, was for the clock to not screw up. But it did. The only thing that can be done now is to make sure it doesn't happen again.
