Torts wants another body that can get in front of the net...So think of someone like that. Wolski is like a floater and we have few of those

14 day conditioning stint. Requires his permission which he gave. Wolski wasn't crazy about accepting the stint when it was brought up 3 weeks ago. Requires no waivers. Wolski counts against the cap. Wolski has played 3 games since returning from sports hernia surgery. He needs to play games.

Was thinking this is a precursor to a Ruutu move and Carolina didn't want salary coming back?

Everyone needs to disabuse themselves of the notion that this has anything to do with a potential trade. He's not on waivers.

yea this gives Wolski two weeks to get his trade value up and if he stinks he's likely waived so the Rangers have cap space.

Hopefully he does well and they can trade him

Woywitka meanwhile is a good spare but I see him waived eventaully too. Eminger should be back soon.

What is frustrating with Wolski is that his skill level is very high but he just doesn't seem to be able to play with any kind of intensity.

Wolski is worthless at this point. He is down for conditioning. The Rangers are still carrying Crusher Christensen as an extra forward. One thing is certain......Wolski will be awarded with a significant cut in pay this summer.
