I appreciate Klein trying to create some offense there, would have been a great move if it worked, but you cannot turn the puck over in that spot. If we had a competent offense Klein wouldn't have to take chances like that.

You mean the incompetent offense that had us 3rd in the NHL entering this game?

You cannot expect the goalie to have very good percentages on a breakaway. Especially one who rarely plays. Klein is clearly the weakest D man on this team. Sad thing is he has been here almost as long as Suter and Weber an he plays worse than two guys with less than 30 games on this team (Josi,Ellis).

That simply isn't true... there are nine teams that have more goals on the year than we do. If you are talking about goal differential, we aren't even in the top 10. Don't know where you are getting that stat but it simply isn't true.
Also, did anyone see ESPN's title for this game? "Broadstreet Audition" with Suters face plastered on the front of the NHL page. Each team has "their own special brew of off-ice distractions" with a line "A long playoff run this spring could be the key in convincing Suter and Weber to stay on board and sign extensions.
Of course, Suter first has to survive the trade deadline."
SIGH.
Suter has certainly opened this can of worms.

Yeah, but when you really look into it most of are goals are on powerplays and rebounds or goals from shots from the back points. Are offense (forwards) are decent but do not have us behind only nine teams. If Smith had a goal for everytime he hit the post this year people would be talking about him like they were RNH before he got hurt.

I know that, but it is seriously misleading to say we have a top 3 offense when it simply isn't true. Facts don't back it up.
also.. not too bad of a game.. our offense just isn't up too par. you can see the difference in skill... and its a huge difference
Disagree entirely, sure they are more skilled but it's not a night and day differnce. I think the Preds haven't played that bad. They are skating pretty well and setting up in the zone decently they are just looking for perfect pass and shot too much instead of just getting the puck to the net and looking for rebounds. There is a delicate balance there and Preds are far too much on the "fancy" end right now. Also the shots have been inaccurate all over the place tonight.
