RE: Pav or Mason - I'd start Mason tonight. Back to back, Pavs hasn't been his strongest against Florida this year. Gotta keep Versteeg off the scoreboard - he's been on fire against the Jets this year.

Wheeler is closing in on being on a 60pt pace for the season - my projections show 16G, 41A for 57pts currently. Wellwood - what an amazing pickup by Chevy - he's closing in on a 50pt pace - 16G, 34A for 49pts. Not bad for $750K.

what program did you make the star wars font in?

i have a friend who used to do the same work here for frantic films before they went belly up....one of his first projects was to make natalie portman's legs thinner.
Thanks - appreciate the kind words! Heard about Frantic's work - I think (and I could be wrong) that they're still doing software work in Winnipeg, no?

Star Wars font: search for "Star Jedi font".

What's some of the work you've done in the film industry?
Thanks - probably one of the only things that people may have seen was Tim Burton's '9' - was the Visual FX Supervisor on that.

Probably the biggest game of the year for the Jets...at least psychologically. I'm sure everyone outside of Winnipeg would expect them to be easy roadkill tonight. If they go in there and pull it off, they now have a 3 game road winning streak (road warriors), 1 point out of 3rd (serious playoff contenders) and undeafed since the allstar break (playing strong when the cream starts rising in the NHL). So a win will likely have them as confident in themselves as they have been all year, especially if the offense breaks out, even just a little.

Nevermind they get to keep the Bro Wars alive. Now that's pressure.

true while a win would only put us 1 point behind Florida they do have 3 games in hand so its really not as close as it seems

It is the most legit board for NHL discussion on the interwebs.

So I imagine a lot of those "guests" are media types.

Brommer?

Or you can change your sn to something like "Odysseus" and then become the ultimate in Bro's and be known as "Brodysseus".

That quote nearly sent me through the roof. It's like a shot of adrenaline right in the back.

We've played more games then FLA this year, making this one even more important.

I've never had a man-crush before!

Watching Wheeler has been amazing lately. You can see the intensity on his face every shift. He's turned some kind of corner and you can see it night after night lately.

Any chance Noel takes Burmistrov off of the fourth line and puts him back with Antropov and Wellwood to try to re-kindle some of that early season scoring they had?

No chance.

It's the obvious solution, but they've had more than a few opportunities to re-unite them and it hasn't been done.

Burmistrov is not being utilized properly. It's been proven time and time again that when given top 6 linemates he and that line create a lot of chemistry and show it on the scoreboard.

And yet he still ends up playing with Gagnon and Miettinen.

Also, it's incredible the difference that Buff made in the game last night. I was prepared to cut him some slack and watch him coast for a few games. But wow, he went out there made a huge contribution! He was always in the middle of the play in both ends, the TV team must have been tired of saying his name.

I think that some of the intensity is rubbing off on Fehr and Burmi. Both of those guys look like they're possessed out there at times. Wathcing Fehr skate hard and try to make that cut to the front of the net was almost as good as if he scored.

You know who I hope has a good game tonight? Claude Noel. He has the Jets battling hard right now, they are blocking shots, are trapping incredibly well and are also pursuing puck carriers like demons; last night the blocking of passing lanes within the neutral zones was a thing of beauty to watch as well. There were times when Tampa were completely hooped when trying to advance the puck.

The Jets have given up a grand total of a combined two goals over their past two road games.

Surely some individual performers have been worthy of mention, but frankly, this group of guys are playing for each other right now, they are playing as a team; in that case the credit goes to coaching. Noel and staff have them playing balls out hockey right now. Kudos.

BTW, this song rules...

Just win, baby.
GO JETS GO!!!!
