(Re potentially losing to Columbus …) We’ve struggled with them a bit this year. I don’t know what the reason is. Maybe we take them too lightly going into the game but we got the win tonight. We still didn’t play our best and that’s a good thing because we’ve got a lot to look forward to when we do play our best. I don’t see why the clock would really stop at 1.8. It’s tough to lose, so to kind of make excuses is kind of normal for people to do, but luckily there was enough time left on the clock and it counted. (Re game importance …) It was huge. It’s tough to come back from a long five-day break like that and get a win. Mentally it was good for us to kind of get away. But it’s hard to get back into that first game. I thought we did an all right job in the first period. A little slow in the second and third but like I said we got that first win and it’s a huge momentum going into this road trip."

It was just a clock. (Re game recap …) We were real average quite honest. The difference between this game and last time we played Columbus was special teams. The last time we had three power plays and didn’t score on any and this time we scored two power-play goals and that was the difference in the game."

That is not an opinion - that is science - amazing devise quite frankly."

- UPCOMING SCHEDULE -

NOTE : Regarding LARGE SIZE IMAGES / YELLOW RE-SIZE IMAGE BARS ABOVE PICS, let me offer up one nice little suggestion ...
This will get rid of those pesky yellow resize bars over the top of some larger pictures ... as they annoy the hell out of me and maybe they do you also ?
- Go into/click on your "USER CP" {control Panel} up top left in the red bars
- on the left under 'Settings & Options' click on "Edit Options"
- scroll down to 'Thread Display Options', and then 'Please Select the Resize Mode'
- click on the 'Drop Down List Box' over on the Right of 'Please Select the Resize Mode'
- select it to "KEEP ORIGINAL SIZE"
- SAVE your selections !
There ... now don't that look MUCH BETTER

5-0 for the kings the last time we played these guys. Aside from one or two quick guys on the wings, this is a team we can keep up with pace wise. As they say, we can "dictate the play" perhaps. Blues are really good at home though, but the Kings seem to be better on the road anyways.

Going to have to be a bit picky with the shots though, I don't think Williams signature sharp angle special is going to do the trick against a guy with a 1.70ish GAA.

Hoping Penner can pick up where he left off, and if Doughty can put up a 3rd straight multi point game, I like our chances.

?? No way.

Kings 4-1.

Quite frankly, I'm still waiting for some Blues payback from years ago - can Westy or Brown just run their goalie for no reason? And then draw a 5-minute major penalty against the Blues? Thank you!

I like Clifford on the 2nd line. Hopefully Penner can keep up the great stuff we saw last game. And let's try to win it before 0.4 seconds, ok?

Penner on right wing might be interesting. Didn't he score his goal last game coming down on the right wing? It should give him a better shooting angle, and if Clifford is crashing the net all the better.

That being said, it's still Penner.

I still get mad when I think about that game. I cant stand the Blues still because of that, even though they have a lot of players I really like these days. Never too late for a little payback for Jamie.

When I look at our lineup, I am a little disturbed by our lack of forward depth
