Simon, Sarno and Pushor returned to Syracuse

The Columbus Blue Jackets have re-assigned defenseman Jamie Pushor and forwards Peter Sarno and Ben Simon to the Syracuse Crunch, the club's American Hockey League affiliate, Blue Jackets President and General Manager Doug MacLean announced Monday.

Looks like we have some more people coming of IR. Foote and Hrdina for sure.. Toss up for that 3rd spot between Fritsche, Manny or Brule?

From what I am hearing over at the bar is that he is still about a week and half out. He is mainly working on his conditioning and still doesn't want to take any heavy hits

That's good to hear, we need Foote back and I'm still curious if Hrdina's little streak with Balastik was just a fluke or if he'll continue to play hard and not return to Captain Hook.

MANNY!

Could also be that we have a few days without games and they want to keep guys playing. We've done that before and predicted trades and player movement that would register on the Richter (no, not Andy) Scale.

I doubt it's for that reason specifically, since the Crunch don't play again until Friday, and the Jackets are up before then.
