Indeed. Just to close the loop, it's not that I don't give the other team credit, but good teams impose their will on the opposition, not the other way around.

Aaaaaaannnd, we're finished.

That never would have happened if Scuderi wasn't so soft with the puck.

We should not even be in the position to blame Scuderi or Bernier or whoever for giving up the second goal. This team should be better than that.

I think it's a good time to watch last nights episode of fringe to avoid having to buy a new remote.

Is anyone else worried that so many Kings players seem to be so obsessed with their looks? I don't think Richardson trades his haircut for Stanley cup.

30th ranked offense and people still blame the goalie.

At this point I'd probably be up for a mini reload at the deadline. Listen to offers for Mitchell, Scuderi, Bernier, Johnson, Richardson, Hunter, Penner, Stoll and Martinez. Might just be rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic but might be worth it.

Elephant in the room is that the guy responsible for putting together this team will have the ability to do the shuffling. Everyone already knows how I feel about that, so nothing left to say. In any case, still time left, and we need a goal.

amen.

Gotta be hard playing D and goal for this team when your offense gives you the worst support in the league.

Just shows ya...you can be a fantastic defensive team, which we are, but if you don't have the offensive help you might as well forget it.

Honestly, the only player I wouldn't consider in a trade would be Quick.

I would settle for Jussi Jokinen at this point. He's the polar opposite of everything our second line embodies. If we can't get Ruuttu for a reasonable price, I'd take Jussi, no problem.

No idea what his contract looks like, but he's got elite hands from what I've seen/heard.

I hope Dean trades Bernier at the deadline in a package for an elite forward because the more I watch Bernier, the less impressed I am. He seems to be fighting the puck too many times and just looks uncomfortable. It could be from a lack of consistent playing time this year, but even last year I came away feeling his abilities have been overrated.

Hopefully we deal him off while his value is still high in the eyes of other GM's.

You really want Lombardi to be allowed another rebuild? If I was AEG, I would tell Lombardi to win with what he has. Let the next GM re-tool the roster in the off season.

I'd be okay with it. These games are just boring to watch. I wouldn't mind giving up some defense for more offense.

Maybe the kings can try Greene on Kopitar's wing. Its about the only thing they have not tried yet.

Going out to eat, I at least thought the Kings would play a little better on the road. Guess not.

O well maybe the deadline will bring some scoring help.

Lombardi doesn't see a problem. If he did, he wouldn't have hired Sutter and kept the assistants.

Lombardi is now the biggest problem.
