Who is last? Must be Columbus because we know a lack of fights hurts you in the standings!

This is all the teams, listed in term of fighting majors. And I wrote where they are in the standings

Rank Team
1 Boston Bruins 4
2 New York Rangers 2
3 Columbus Blue Jackets 30
4 Ottawa Senators 12
5 Philadelphia Flyers 5
6 Vancouver Canucks 3
7 Anaheim Ducks 28
8 Minnesota Wild 16
9 New Jersey Devils 13
10 Pittsburgh Penguins 10
11 St. Louis Blues 7
12 Winnipeg Jets 19
13 Colorado Avalanche 20
14 Buffalo Sabres 24
15 Calgary Flames 21
16 Chicago Blackhawks 8
17 Dallas Stars 18
18 San Jose Sharks 9
19 Florida Panthers 15
20 Washington Capitals 17
21 Los Angeles Kings 11
22 Edmonton Oilers 29
23 Nashville Predators 6
24 Toronto Maple Leafs 14
25 New York Islanders 25
26 Tampa Bay Lightning 23
27 Carolina Hurricanes 27
28 Montreal Canadiens 26
29 Phoenix Coyotes 22
30 Detroit Red Wings 1

Do you see a correlation ? Teams under 20 are also under 20 in the standings (in majority). And except Detroit, all top teams are at the top of the list

Hard to draw many conclusions with Columbus near the top and Detroit at the bottom.

One thing interesting about that list is how Nashville, a team that plays a physical, defensive game, is near the bottom.

Perhaps because "toughness" does not mean fighting.

Dude, you're only seeing a correlation because you want to see one. The teams are all over the place.

Also, if you look at the bottom teams, NYI, TB, Canes, Mtl and PHX, fighting has absolutely nothing to do with why they're there.

Seriously, you can be a fan of fighting and think we need a goon, that's okay. But to suggest there's a correlation between the two is just not true.

Emelin AK and Cole prove that. They barely fight but bring it in the physical game.

Darkest day in Habs history !

- 1st anniversary without a goal of our most paid player
- Dead last in the east
- Dead last in fighting majors in the league

What an entertaining team !

At least if we are to loose all our games and finish last, give us a show !

Kind of wish we'll add guys like Eager in the near future.

We have a potential top 5 pick this year, I don't want this kid to get bullied and ragdolled. Someone roughs him up and he can be sure to get some visit.

Nooo, apparently some Habs fans are happy to see players like Darche, Enqvist and palushaj on our 4th lines and ****.

It's basically time to play Ryan White, call up Henry, Fitzgerlad and Schultz, and waive Gomez while sending down the floaters.

I guess math isnt your forte huh ?

Ever heard of averages. Detroit and Columbus eliminate each other, but those stats are sure a telling story !!!

And what story do they tell? Out of the best 15 teams in the league, 8 are in the top half in fighting majors, 7 in the bottom half.

What are you averaging exactly?

If math is your forte, I'm sure you not telling us that every two sets of numbers must have some correlation?

There you go !

Figure skating is a great sport, we should try to get in to it. Seems to be big in Montreal.

When was the last time you see it with the habs ? It was last night in Nashville

I remember you that McGrattan play with Nashville. Not everygame, but it's always useful to dress a guy like him for specific games !

Right now.. with the team we have. I don't see any reason why we shouldn't have a goon to protect and beat the **** out of some opposing players.

Before the argument was "we need someone who knows how to play hockey". **** that now. This team sucks and it won't make the playoffs. So why not get a goon to entertain some fans who like fighting and beat the **** out of fake tough guys like Gaustad or Kaleta who disrespect us.

For the next game against the Sabres, bring some tough players like Henry. We will see if Gaustad is so tough or if he only acts tough when he knows there are only ******* on the opposing team.

When White comes back, I don't know how he will resist not getting a ***** in the shower with so many vaginas hanging around.

So you're saying that number of fighting majors that a team gets is not necessarily indicative of how soft or tough a team is....are you arguing with yourself now?

I remember you that no team have less fighting majors than the habs right now

Even if Nashville are not so high in the list, they still A LOT tougher than our little kitty Habs
