would calling Acoltase a Matt Carnker clone with a bit more offence be an accurate comparison?

Don't know if he's had a chance to play a game. (Trade was Thursday, next game was Saturday. I know Sullivan was in transit by car so just arrived like Tuesday in Texas.)

Games tonight and tomorrow.

He played the Saturday game after the trade. Whole team sucked so bad I can't even judge him on that. They have games up in Newfoundland tomorrow and Saturday so hopefully that will give us an idea of his game.

Mash with Gordie Howe hat trick tonight (2nd of the year) in a wild game (4-2 win). You're gonna wanna read the recap of this one.

very glad to see Mashinter so productive in the past while.....I'm guessing he was playing thru an injury in the first part of the season. Is his skating sufficent to enable him to play in the NHL next year?

The penalties...when reading this realize that referee Marcus Vinnerborg let a ton of stuff go (which lead to many of the later fights). Also note the matching roughing minors to Petrecki and Aebischer in the third period...Aebischer is the IceCaps goaltender.

Livingston's rough in the 1st period was called after he was jumped by two IceCaps forwards.

Murray should have gotten a triple game misconduct...three fights, secondary altercation, and losing his jersey in a fight.

Del Monte's roughing minor never happened because he was jumped from behind by Kulda. McLaren should have been thrown out for third man in that fight (which Del Monte was winning so there was no need to get involved).

Petrecki's slashing minor was a phantom call, his stack barely touched the IceCaps player as both were fighting for the puck. His goaltender interference call was terrible because he was tripped into Aebischer and had no chance to stop.

I have him at 6-0-1, and his draw was after he was essentially jumped after refusing to fight while up a couple of goals. His wins aren't even close fights....

Did that Worcester Sharks versus angry mob meeting thing ever happen, and if so where can I read about it?

Making a prediction here: Alex Stalock will be on the WorSharks roster for Friday's game vs Manchester. If he is, I think he'll be playing

So with Murray on his way down, addition of Kennedy, and Sheppard likely on his way in short order (at least temporarily, and Wingels likely back after Sheppard's conditioning stint is over) are things looking 'up' in Worcester?
