This roster is packed with players that are totally content with losing.

Wheeler, Stuart, Buff, and Ladd. Come from winning clubs, and clearly want to win. You can clearly see that players like Little, Slater, Thorburn, Enstrom, and Hainsey are fine with just going through the motions.

Edit: Good thing St.Johns is the top team in the AHL... a lot of winners will be brought along.

That's totally not true. Little, Slater, and Thorburn all play hard every game. Enstrom and Hainsey are always solid every game.

Gotta love PJ Stock on HNIC calling Buff lazy, pretty tough to argue against!

Right, I need two goals to win a bet. Look likely?

Buff has been very lazy tonight. Really a brutal game from him all around.

How long before Chevy figures out we need a scorer or are they content to burn this season?

All season he's said he just wants to see what team he has. I can't figure out why though at this point

Thrasher 344. You can see all those guys skating and going through the motions... but you won't see them take a play that's given to them, rather they will play by habit. For example, you'll often see center support for a clean break out, yet you'll watch Thorburn chip the puck off the glass and give it right back to the other team.

It's obvious when this team gets scored on they shut it down.

No one said it wasn't gonna be a rough year. And if anyone did, they're full of ****.
nothing worse than a hindsight i told you so guy.

anyone who now claims that they knew all along that the jets wouldnt be any better than the thrashers were last year is just as full of those four little Asterix.

At this rate it won't take very long for these guys to be on their way out and the younger guys on the farm will take the permanent roster spot.

Friggin homer CBC, this is getting stupid.

"Brian Little, thanks for letting us interview you between periods. The Habs are #1 on the PK, what are they doing so well? .... The Habs had a rough day yesterday, what have you seen from them that makes them look so much better today?"

WTF, maybe next time ask him some questions concerning, you know, the team he plays for...

Chevy is a winner. He knows what to look for. I hope it rubs off.

sipowicz, haven't you heard...they are building through the draft.

maybe true north will finally get their calder cup....they spent a lot more time building that team last off season than they did the jets.

i hope this off season is different.

trade kane.

344, I agree with GST hustling, but Little? come on man he's crap tonight, aside from Wheeler and Machacek don't see much from any forwards.

classic case of playing down to a weaker team, MTL is terrible and we're making them look like champs. I don't mind losing but not like this, really looking forward to the post game reaction from the Jets, they should be ashamed of their effort.

Peter, building through the draft is the biggest fallacy in hockey, most drafted guys don't blossom for 3-5 years, by that time your losing the core of your team through free agency. Today's NHL teams are built through trades and free agency.

Rick Dudley was a winner, too. I still can't understand why you get rid of a guy who helped the team immensely and actually knew what the team needed, in favor of a guy who was content with just seeing how this year goes and not doing anything cause he had no clue what this team was like.

Makes no sense to me and infuriates me to no end.

Agree with 344, Dudley should have been given time to finish what he started. I have more confidence in his GM abilities than unproven Chevy who is too trigger shy to make a trade to even shake up the team.

I think we should focus on building the team through re-entry waivers.

And Mittens still can't score.

OT: This lack of a quote function is super annoying.
