They are playing the same Chimes song that they play at ACC during the last minute of a tied game (or Leafs on PP trailing by 1 in last minute faceoff). The song/video at 0:00. Does anyone know what its called?
Wes Welker had the chance to end the game, how in the world did he not caught that throw from Brady, his one of the most realiable receivers in the league too.
Pretty good game, close all the way. Can't stand either team, but my dad is a Giants fan so congrats to them. Hopefully my Niners will be there next year, so very close.
And Brady is not as good as Montana was, winning this Superbowl or not wouldn't have changed that. He's up there though.

Sure he is, Montana had star players around him in Rice, Clark and Craig as well as a top defence. Brady has won with far less.

Not as good. Seen plenty of both, I'm not comparing stats and teammates here. Not as good. IMO.
In the interest of disclosure though, highly biased, life long 9ers fan, so.. ya. But I think most observers agree with that opinion. Montana still tops most lists for a reason.

Players drop passes all the time. Even high-caliber ones.
All those dropped passes by the Saints going against SF.
And Green Bay had how many?
Not just wide receivers too. A few years ago Nate Kaeding was considered the best kicker in the NFL. He missed 3 field goals in one game.

But that just wasn't any pass, that pass is pretty much the superbowl deciding pass, had Welker caugh it the game was as good as done but it went right through his hands (what a choke), it was a simple pass most nfl wide receivers would easily catch, Manning was getting a lot of hard plays from his receivers such as the impossible manningham catch while Brady's receivers were looking like a bunch of butterfingers, I'm not saying Brady was completely blameless in the game (that intentional grounding was very costly), but when it comes down to it the receivers let this game slip out of for them.
Brady winning or losing wouldn't have put him above Montana. I think this dynasty is somewhat slipping now. 3 wins 2 losses, but the Patriots didn't lose because of their defense.
Tom Brady wasn't clutch. He needed to hold on to the ball, he needed to prevent that safety by throwing near the Giants coaching staff, Gronk/Welker were right there. If Welker held on to that ball with about 4 mins to go, the Patriots would have won even if they didn't score on the play, Giants had like 1 timeout left, just run the ball and take time off the clock.
Eli was more clutch, didn't make bad plays and didn't turn over the ball. That pass to Manningham was just another great pass that will go down as the reason they won.
