2 mil per is too much for Moen. He's been great this year, but he's not an impact player. It's true that Moen's size and grit are a thing this team sorely lacks on it's bottom lines, but at the same time it's true that his value right now to a team that wants to go deep in the playoffs is likely at an all-time high. I'd be okay with resigning him, but I'd rather get an inflated return for him. Truth be told, he's a replaceable player, the kind of guy you can get UFA like we did last time, especially with an offer like 6 mil for 3 years.

Moen or Replacement.
White
Blunden

Plus you'll have Conboy back from injury pushing for a spot, and hopefully Schultz will continue to develop so he becomes an option by midseason.

The only real question is who centres the fourth line, because none of those guys is really a centre.
White is really a center!

In Juniors he was. But he doesnt have the footspeed or the vision to play centre at the NHL level IMO.

Huh? He has excelled at center in the ahl and done well in the NHL. He was really good vs Boston in playoffs.

Until Martin told him to calm down because Boston wouldn't throw a hit against us....

in 2009-2010 salary cap 56.8
as of today 64 millions

hi salary was 1.5

he wouldve earned 1.70 currently. getting 1.5 would be a salary loss
1.75 would be fair
