Should have had 3 goals but he has no talent. Missed like 2 open nets, we need someone that will bring something to the team. Another Tom Pyatt we don't need, if Darche name was Smith he would have been gone along time ago.
That's why Lapierre, Latendresse and Picard are gone... (huh?)
You're totally wrong on that.
The guy deserves to play ... and he doesn't hurt the team as a 4th liner.
palushaj did more than enough in this call up to DESERVE to stay in the NHL.
Forget that it would be in the best interest of our organization to keep him up, even if it means giving guys like Gomez/Darche some press box time, from a simple "level of play" pov, he was at least as effective as Gomez/Darche.
what's more, I'd strongly argue that from a team impact pov, the energy & intensity he (and leblanc) were playing with was "contagious". it's something that can't be quantified, but definitely something that does happen in a team sport environment.
very hard for veterans to "coast" or be unwinling to "pay the price" when young guys are buzzing around the ice, both from an "example" pov and from a personal pride pov.
I hope that this is a calculated short term decision done with the sole purpose of maximizing the "showcase" time of vets that are on their way out... any other rational for this demotion would be just plain stupid.
I admire how hard Darche tries but if we're not going to make the playoffs I'd rather see young guys like Palushaj play lots of minutes instead of non-talented guys like Darche who have no future with the team. Give Leblanc or Palushaj a chance with Pleks' line instead of Darche already, still laughing at that wide open net he missed yesterday.
bah, he'll be back soon enough. he did very well this time
I was the only one on here that thought he played with a lot of heart and work ethic the last time around, so his play yesterday didn't surprise me in the least. He's figured out how he needs to play to be an effective bottom 6'er, and i'm pretty confident he'll be back one day. With White back now as well, I'm pretty sure this will make it way easier to let go of Moen, if it wasn't already a fait accompli.

Actually giving them the hard minutes Plek plays is bad for devellopment. Playing with Plekanec on this team isn't just about fun times in the offensive zone (and it shouldn't be because neither Eller or DD should have to handle those while they are still develloping), if we can get a Malhotra clone this summer, sure, not now.
I would agree with using Palushaj and Leblanc with Eller as a softer minutes offensive line tough (wich is what they did last game). In fact ,I hope that's what they are going to do to finish the season. (after the deadline)

well, he never did badly, but he never stood out either. last night really was his coming out party
yeah, 4th line minutes and such, but it's part of the learning process

Alot of it is about the kind of players he played with. Leblanc and Eller, even if they are young, are offence-type players. Palushaj isn't the kind of player who can look good in a pure checking line role, doesn't mean I think he should play in the top 6 or bust since the NHL is all about a top 9 these days.
Eller could make it on the fourth line last season and Leblanc could this year because both play a pretty good checking game on top of their skills. They're like Grinders with hands, that's not Palushaj's game.
He's the kind of guy that should be broken in in the NHL on a soft minutes offensive third line since he's not ready for top 6 opposition but kind of useless in a pure checking line role, so let's hope they use him like they did last game when he's called back up.
He played his best NHL game with great effort and solid decisions overall. Racked up an assist and finished a +1 with 3 SOG. Unless there's a trade that brings in an extra roster player, this is a stupid move for Aaron's development.
