I know. I'm just saying those two defencemen are the only thing from Chicago that interests me.

I would try to pull a mega deal with the hawks. they got some players that could be real useful to the habs.

theodore,ribeiro,zednik,bulis,Andrew Archer+2nd rounder

for

Khabibulin Nikolai,Eric Daze,Martin Lapointe,Mathew Barnaby, Jim Vandemeer

We git grit and character with lapointe and barnaby. We need these type of players for the koivus and kovalev. It was painful to watch kovalev play againts the sens. The guy was getting pushed urond and no one went up to neils face. Kovalev had to take care of stuf himself and it shouldent be that way. I would love a barnaby bégin lapointe line in montreal. Our you can even have lapointe playing with koivu and kovalev.

Here's an Aaron Downie - Jim Vandermeer tussle ... http://rapid share.de/files/7123202/downeyvsvandermeer.wmv.html Jim can handle the big-boys.

What if there is really nothing in terms of a trade ... just a lot of speculation and BG starting rumours to shake up the sleeping peasants on his team.

That was against Ryan Clowe in Clowe's first NHL fight and he landed a couple of decent looking shots but Vandermeer just started laughing in his face and Clowe's expression turned to sheer terror because he just realized that his punches weren't doing anything.

Like I said the other day;

To MTL;

Lapointe
Barnaby
Calder

To Chi;

Ribeiro
Sunny
Bulis

IMO we are not ''yet'' a top elite team ( in talent). So we need to be a hard team to play against

with Calder,Barnaby, Lapointe, Begin , bouilon ,etc... nobody will **** with us
