So when Bob fails then what? Trying to get Bryz confidence and giving Bob time off to work on his game is a must. I am a firm believer in giving young goalies time off to work on their game and not ruin their confidence.

Why do you think he would fail?

Outside of two Winnipeg games, the kids been pretty darn solid and has show that he has been working on not going into the butterfly so early.

He is 11-5-1 which isn't exactly shabby for randomly being put between the pipes.

He sure hasn't been giving the chance at a decent string of starts like Bryz has.

He is young and the coach doesn't want to over work him because he is progressing now. You play him too much and he strings together a bunch of bad games like Bryz and his confidence could get ruin'd and he would quit improving as a player for the season because of it. Bob has potential to be a great goalie. I just want him to have the time to develop and not be rushed.

Jagr for one has played better than Giroux recently, sure he has given up the puck a few times but his linemates have to be held accountable as well.

Hartnell taking useless penalties, Giroux (other than just winning faceoffs) hasn't done much himself.
Yes yes yes, Jagr is great, god, the teams best player etc etc. No one cares about your biased view honestly. Jagr has been better but defensively, he has been pretty bad. That whole line has. And thats not hating or a fan-boy view. That's a fact.

Don't forget the Leafs, they're also coming on and they're in Philly this weekend.

Crosby practiced with the team yesterday, I bet they will suddenly announce he'll be in the lineup. I don't know how long Staal is out.

Awesome that Briere is back! Hopefully they can get things going again after that bad weekend.

Good, let Crosby play against Rinaldo and Sestito.

Sestito fought 3 times in one game and threw 2 big hits plus had 4 pins all of that in 3 in a half minute of ice time. Effective.

i'm not singleling you out but you comment, like me, alot on the goalies, but doesnt it seem too simplistic to be the main source of all of our problems? Bryzgalov sucked worse than i've ever seen that dude play on sunday but overall the goalies really are the last of our problems. This team's man to man coverage blows and we make crazy high risk plays in tight situations instead of being patient. and with mez and carle i feel like im watchin the special olympics. responsibility needs to be spread around way more then it has been. what im sayin is i dont really have a strong feeling regardless of who's in net about this team either way. were streaky as hell. solid games are intermittent and the fact that washington can beat boston and we cant really f's me up.

if Cindy plays and Rinaldo even skates near him, it will be an automatic suspension.. book it..

i have that little faith in this league to not treat him with that gentle of a kiddie gloves.

Sestito doesn't belong in the NHL. Rinaldo, well, is Rinaldo. This team better hope that Crosby isn't healthy by the time they play, because he can singlehandedly win the game, as I think everyone has seen in the past.

Its rare that they drop that low but the tickets on stub hub were like $20 for upper level seats for this game. I had something to do after school or I would have went.

with these goalies it's more fun to assume they will always lose and then be surprised when they don't

Jagr rocked last week on the line with Schenn and Read, would love to see that again

Edit: Is it just me, or isn't the "quote system" working yet?
