Voted. I looked at about 10 of Law's GDT's and I must say they're pretty good but...repetitive. Same basic layout just different players. MiG's are way more imaginative I find, but then I may be biased.

I expect the Islanders' support to wane as days 2 and 3 of the ECF draw near. I mean, they started stuffing the ballot, putting us 19 back of them as of this writing.

Nevertheless, I received multiple complaints from the Islanders about me not putting their best GDT on the board. I brokered a deal with them, giving them 3 days to decide which one to put in the Waffle Cup Final OP in the event the Islanders win.

There's only one way to reverse the damage the Islanders have been causing us: change the GDT for another one with more game information than the rosters.

I felt that the Detroit GDT couldn't land us a chance to get us into the Waffle Cup Final.

Well..MiG's GDT is hilarious and quite creative but the story speaks more to Habs fans than other fan bases while the Law's GDT is a typical GDT, stats and all with some great art work. You could have found a more comparable one from MiG's previous work if you really wanted it to compare apples to apples so to speak and make it easier for non-Habs voters to compare and choose.

In any case, we're Habs fans, no one stuffs ballots like we do. If we got Mike Komisarek in the all star game, we can get MiG the waffle cup. Mods, use your "persuasion powers" and get users voting

Same here. They're great, don't get me wrong, but basically the same grid everytime. Doing a GDT and wanting it original and informative is pretty hard (but fun!). The one man GDT is unbelievable, but that's just one... MiG has got a gazillion awesome GDTs.

The closer the ECF is, the more will both sides attempt to stuff the ballot. Fans of Western teams apparently get tired because they only had two possible Waffle Cup contenders from the get-go, with everyone else that clearly didn't measure up, while the East had as many as four. (Not to knock on those eliminated in the first round, they were good, but it's the tournament format)

EDIT: Now, we're up 6 over the Isles...

WTF? They're all the same: one template for all games, just a different photoshop involving some random Islanders guy/former player/etc (WUCKFANG indeed). I could do those with one hand behind my back.

Manu's an artiste. We're not getting recycled jokes over and over again: there's always something new AND ORIGINAL in MiG's GDTs, and the Chilloutine GDT was a stroke of genius.

VOTE FOR MiG!!!

What is so funny about the NYI GDT? It's just a huge preface to the game..
