Looks like AV is as bored with the regular season as the rest of the team is.
But seriously,
If i were actually trying to get the 'most' out of a split-Sedin lineup, i'd want to see something along the lines of:
Booth-Henrik-Kesler ---> give Henrik some straightforward north-south shooters and hope a bit of that rubs off on him.
Daniel-Hodgson-Burrows ---> take a look at what Hodgson can do with some excellent wingers, with a bit more responsibility...hope that a desire to 'show the rookie how it's done' and try to help Hodgson out defensively re-aligns the wingers' priorities.
Raymond-Lapierre-Hansen ---> see if you can get the 3 of these guys whipped up in a bit of a Lappy-inspired frenzy. hopefully get a bit of that fire back in Hansen's game, as it seems to have tailed off lately.
Bitz-Malhotra-Weise ---> see what Bitz can accomplish without a talented pivot carrying the line.
But then really, who cares about getting the most out of the lineup. We all know that ultimately, the way to get the most out of the lineup is to have the Sedins together and on the right page. The point is clearly to wake the team up and get the Sedins to quit dinking around. And for that purpose, AV's bizarre experiment works just fine.
