We actually showed up for Quick today! It's a miracle! Great game. If only Quick scored on the empty net at the end there... Oh well. Penner needs to do that every game. Can't be too disappointed with this effort. Onto the next game. GO KINGS!

Like I said in the GDT, if the Kings play the rest of their games like they did after they gave up the goal in the 2nd, then they can do some damage in the post-season... but I won't believe they'll be able to do that with any consistency until they string three-five of these types of efforts together in a row.

That said, well done, boys - on to the Panthers.

That was a nice win. Kopi with a great tip, Clifford looking like an All Star and Penner the sniper. If only Quick had scored that empty net!

Solid road win. Tampa Bay almost took me back to the Crawford years when it came to goaltending and d-play.. Makes me happy about how solid this team is defensively.

That was one of Lokti's better games as a King.

I'll say that was a solid 45 minutes of hockey, but moreover it was a dominating final 30. Very much so in control. Good road game against a high powered team. As Foxie would say...bend but don't break! Must have been the mindset in the first.

Especially since they just gave up the lead to the Caps.

The team still has a lot of work to do, but I liked that they tried to make things happen with the puck. I hope this Penner shows up consistently and his evil twin goes away. He had a solid game tonight, easily could have picked up 2 or even 3 points.

Tampa sure likes to push, I'm surprised we didn't turn the puck over more than we did.

Hoping for another consistent effort next game. If they can get 4-5 games in a row where they give a great effort, the confidence will start to come back and the good habits will carry on.

Not to rain on the parade but the goal notwithstanding, the 2nd line was still absolutely hideous most of the game. Zero sustained pressure most of the time, consistent turnovers entering the zone, and dump and no puck recovery in the offensive zone.

That might have been Penner's best game as a King. He was all over the ice in a good way and that was a great shot on his goal.

Quick was strong when he had to be, facing 24.

Kopitar also played great tonight, IMO. As did Williams except for his penalty. Williams was great on the D side of the ice.

Sucks for Scuds. Not his fault with the stick break and he did what he could. At least it didn't cost us the game.

If we could score 3 a night, we'd have a great record.

I am still pissed at Florida after the last game against them. Intensity level needs to be higher. Looking forward to it.
