TD Rink on the Brink

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if anyone is in the Niagara region, and wants to play shinny on the Rink on the Brink. It costs $150/hr to rent - could take place on Saturday night (Feb 11) or so. I think it would be an awesome place to play for an hour and if anyone is down to rent the ice for an hour and pitch in - well I'm sure it would be a fun game.

I doubt this will happen, but worth the post I guess.

Alex

If it was closer to the GTA I'd be down.

It does sound fun but based on my experience from being there (and working around there) conditions are very unpredictable with the mist. I'd hate to fork out money and time only to find myself skating in a virtual rainstorm.

I think it was better a few years ago when they had the cover and windows. The mist from Niagara Falls is a real pain.

Got to get my Enhanced license, and I'll keep that in mind. I would love to come up there(From Western New York) and get some shinny going.

I live in Welland and know a few of us, myself included, who would be interested.

Yeah, I'm not sure if it would be feasible for this year considering the rink closes Feb 29th. The absurd weather doesn't help either.

Although - how would we organize this if we decide to do it?
