Not a great night for the tank. Winnipeg should win though.

Canes vs Ducks tonight is pretty much win/win. 3 point game will be huge for the tank.

Didn't check on much he played but it sure looked as if Letang was on the whole game last night

Edit: 27:31 Pretty impressive playing half the game more or less

It's amazing, kid has been more or less averaging 30 minutes a night at his age.

Why? We hate the "Well, I will give my 100% and hope for the best" but also hate a guy that speaks his mind? Not because we don't agree with him that he should shut up. Makes no sense. No. He shouldn't shut up. But he should be replied that, as far as I'm concerned, I disagree completely with him. Period. Still remains one of the best goalie in the league.

Why do you always seem to defend the Bruins harder than your own players?

Besides the point, while he's a public figure, he shouldn't be using his celebrity platform to compare Obama to the Nazis for a law that makes birth control accessible to everyone. Even if that's not his intention it was a poor choice of words and he deserves whatever backlash he gets.

This can only lead to distractions for his team. He can say what he wants but it's both stupid and selfish of him. If anyone should know that sports and politics are a terrible combination, it's Habs fans.

In the next 5 games, Montreal will face NYI,Carolina and Buffalo all teams battling with MTL for a bottom pick.

Although not the be all end all, the outcome of these 3 games will have a huge impact on the team's positioning down the road. Win all three and Montreal will be on the outside looking in. Lose all 3 and Montreal can push Edmonton out of the 2nd spot thus separating themselves even further from the rest of the pack.

The Habs are currently on a 2game winning streak but as we all know, they have a tendency to fall flat against bad teams. So here's hoping the trend continues

I could care less what Thomas believes and it has no bearing on his merit as a goalie.

But he's creating a distraction and is sounding like an idiot. Wonder what you would say if a Habs player started using his position to talk about Quebecois separatism or federalism.

I'd rather not think about it, thank you! It would be such a mess with the media. But he would be shipped out of town faster than Cammalleri after his comments.

And well, Boston isn't quite that bad because hockey isn't as important but it's a majority pro-Obama city during an emotional election year, what Thomas is doing can definitely create an unnecessary distraction.

I like to see hockey players actually think for themselves and while I disagree with Thomas it's nice to see someone have an opinion. But sports and politics do not mix, and he should at least watch what he says until he retires.

Should having a championship ring and being one of the best goalies in the league affect whether he should receive criticism or not? What if Rick Dipietro said the same things?
