Thank You Doug

for having the patiance and foresight to not trade rusty klesla and pascal lecaire. At times us knee jerk fans have waivered on our commitment to these players. You had the wisdom to hold onto them.

Rusty is a pure joy to watch this year. He deserves the contract he will get in the offseason.

In conclusion Doug, I pledge that I will extend the same patiance with the team as you showed with rusty and pascal. That includes our coach. I need to remind myself that he is still developing like our players. I may disagree with some of the things he does.

ie. Z's goal last night, quote GG "It was unbelievable. Id like to say we worked on that in practice, but the way we moved the puck there ... It was a beautiful passing play."

why wouldnt we practice that in practice, who is our coach allen Iverson?

anyways I will put that aside and give the man another chance. That being said, for me, this years goal should be.

get more points than we had in the inagural season. If we can do that I can go into the offseason feeling positive.

And by the way, HOLY CRAP! I just looked at nash's stat line through 15 games, and Nash is +2. OMG, I know he has only played 15 games, but still. Nash is not a minus player.

and klesla is leading the team with +4
Im dissapointed on Rustys behalf considering the Blocked shot stat they were suppose to add this season. I cant find it anywhere so i guess they dropped it?

Rusty was top 10 in the league in blocking shots during his rookie season.

You've gotta respect someone that can stand in front of a 100 mph shot like that over and over and over and over especially after seeing what one of those shots did to what was Richardson's jaw.

Last night at the PIT game one of buddys told me about a dude that works in the front office who says the term "MacLean 4 Martini Lunch" is common around the office.

I laughted.
