I am so annoyed with Leafs fans, how "great" their teams is and players are and how great Burke is I just want to have a strong game and just beat them.

Did you see the proposal of JVR + Schenn for Schenn + Kadri?
Awesome, this is on TSN, finally some impartial commentators!
McGuire tends to get a hardon for Philadelphia during games, while Ferraro cheers for any team playing Philadelphia. But at least the play-by-play guys are impartial
Justin Musciano is our backup goalie. Now, I want to win this game, BUT how cool would it be for a random to come in and play.
In the early days, the Flyers had to dress a member of the Canadian Consulate based in Los Angeles when both Doug Favell and Bernie Parent were injured/ill. The person was a goalie in prior days and dressed in Favell's number 1.
One time trainer Sudsy Settlemyre dressed in a game when Ken Wregget was injured in warmups and Pete Peeters started.

Bacashihua was cut during camp and hasn't been promoted since then.
Wayne Fish mentions that Bacashihua could be the backup tonight, if Bryzgalov is ill.
Dave Isaac mentions both Legton and Bacashihua are subject to waivers.
Wasn't the reason we signed Bacashihua the fact that he didn't have to go through recall waivers? Both Leighton and Backlund had to, so we needed a third goalie for the Phantoms?
Leighton had spent too much time in the NHL, and Backlund had spent too little time in NA, to be exempt. Something like that.

McGuire doesn't work for TSN anymore. I think Ferraro is awesome, he's brutally honest.
Waiver-eligible players on minor-league assignments are subject to reentry waivers if they are recalled and their minor-league salary is greater than $105,000 in 2009-10 and beyond.
If the player is not claimed on reentry waivers, he joins the parent club. If he is claimed, the acquiring team is only responsible for half of the player's salary and cap hit. The player's former team is responsible for the other half of the player's salary and cap hit for the duration of the contract.
Players subject to reentry waivers during a given season do not need to pass through reentry waivers the following season if they are able to make the NHL team's opening-night roster.

I think it's too last minute because Leighton has to clear waivers which means he'd be eligible tomorrow after noon if not claimed. I thought Bacashua (sp?) would have been recalled today.
