I wish you all could have been at the TD BankFleetNorth Center of Boston Garden at North Station Grounds or whatever the heck they call that place now.
I told my wife before the game that Alex would break out of his slump and what a way to do it. It was great also because it was so empty. Lots of people left after the second period and even more left after each third period goal. Lots of Monarchs fans had come down from NH (45-60 min. drive) so it was kind of nice to not be the only two people in a crowd of 18,000+ cheering for the Kings. Got lots of compliments on my DT jersey, although one guy asked if I was wearing my white skates too. I had to correct him; "No, that was the Oakland Seals and that dumas Charlie Finley."
Very nice win in a place where the Kings have ALWAYS struggled, especially considering the last time the Kings were here they lost 5-0 and I had to hear it all the way out of the Fleet Center and back to my car. Tonight I walked out with my head held high.
Now I have to wait until April when I am coming to LA for two games to see them again, and who knows when they will be back in Boston.
