the term superstar is way too diluted. superstars imo are guys like the howe's, the orr's, the gretzky's, the lemieux's and the roy's of each era. not necessarily do they have to be top 5 all time to become a superstar as i would consider guys like brett hull or joe sakic or jaromir jagr in their primes would've been considered superstars. only superstars in this league nowadays are maybe guys like chris pronger, martin brodeur etc.... hejduk is not.
Hejduk is a superstar. He has been for more than a year now. Some people simply pretend to ignore it.
When a guy like Sundin is a superstar in this league, a guy like Hejduk must be included.
I agree. Some say since he plays with Forsberg that he isn't a superstar. I don't care what people say, if you get 50 goals and 98 points in this day and age you ARE a superstar. (By the way, I don't consider Sundin a superstar anymore)
