Bobrovsky looks awful tonight, but the defense is pretty horrible at clearing the crease... Coburn plays like a 5'5 150 pound d-man, rather than the 6'5 230 pound guy he is. Timonen has been caught a few times too...

This defense is so soft in front of the net it's pathetic. A 2 goal lead was too much for our boys to handle, better give them one back before the period ends.

All these scrambles around the net and I haven't seen one leaf get knocked on there @ss. On the other end of the ice we've seen G, Simmonds and Schenn from what I can remember get knocked over when they get to the crease. Coburn, Mez and MAB need to just forget about the puck in those situations and just plow over people.

Are some really feel bad for Bob. 2nd was horrific and 3rd he way overcommited and was out of position. I don't mind 3rd, but Bryz would get crucified.

Yeah. Way too overcommited to making the second and maybe even third save.

Third one wasn't on BOB at all.

Eh, Bob has been pretty bad. 2nd goal he just flat let a puck fall out of his glove for an easy rebound. Can't happen.

I hate that every goal we have to say whether it was the goalies fault or the defense fault. Can't we just place everything on the team as a whole.

Not quite as good a period as the first one. Very rough start, but we did well to get back into it again. Toronto (especially their top line) has started skating. Makes it so much harder for our guys.

Good thing our top line is having a great game as well. Jagr's back in form for sure. Hartnell with a Gordie Howe hattrick, Giroux with a very nice goal.

Bourdon and Gustafsson are holding up pretty well so far this game too. Bourdon has failed to clear the zone a few times, but he's also made a couple of really nice defensive plays and is a lot calmer with the puck these days than his first games up. Gustafsson might not have the ideal partner for him in Meszaros. Mes is at his best when he joins the rush like he's been doing this game, but Gustafsson isn't really the dman you want to be the guy who sits back. Still, he's done a solid job so far.

Our Schenn is better than their Schenn.

Wow ! Your bias has tonight been proven. This is classic kill bryz game and you defend Bob. 1st was tipped 5 hole ( Bryz Blame) 2nd GARBAGE 3rd over played and out of position. I personally only really blame for 2nd goal, but you would be peeing Bryz hate venom if he was in net.

Say all you want about Bob. Our 1st paring failed in this game.

No other Leaf line was a threat. I mean we can not shut down one line?

First goal wasn't his fault, but the second he should have caught in his glove, and the last one flopping all over the ice a-la-Bryzgalov. Committed too early, and then couldn't recover and get back up. To be fair though, yes, the defense ****ed up just as bad on that 3rd one.

Most boards yes, here, Hell no. Some are so beyond reason in both ways for our goalies its pathetic.

Ignoring some tho has made it more pleasent.

its hilarous the difference between the goals going in tonite vs some of Bryz' goals

2nd goal is all Bob no question, he gloves it then oddly flubs it whateva.

but the first and third Bob battles and battles but gets less then zero help, in fact the Defense basicly help TO

that third one is basicly enuf to make a player not even wanna play anymore .

poor guy

It's not the goalie sucking or the defense sucking. It's a combo of both being weak on the puck in front of the net.
