Nothing beats the jackass yesterday.

Pronger skates!
Oops I lied.

If he doesn't get randomly punched in the face, Philly has really lost its touch.

That is Frank/Daily News latest. As stated, just his speculation.

Check that. No James van Riemsdyk at the skate. Strange to make that roster move without need.

how is it strange? Z is the 14th forward now. Since he doesnt have to clear waivers, no sense sticking him in the press box when he could be getting ice time in the A

I don't disagree with that assessment as mentioned on the prior page. Unless JVR has full contact practices, as one major passed test, it's unlikely he will be activated with such immediacy to tonight's game.

Holmgren also was unable to shed any light on whether James van Riemsdyk, recovering from a concussion, had suffered a setback. JVR seemed to be making progress this week and was fairly upbeat but did not participate in the morning skate.

“His status is the same – I don’t know,” Holmgren said when asked if a setback were involved. “We continue to say [with concussions], who knows? He didn’t skate today. Does that mean it’s a setback? I don’t know. He’s out indefinitely.

“I’m not going to say it’s frustrating because with a lot of these guys, the symptoms, that is the way they track. I expect him to practice tomorrow but I am not sure.”

Bryzgalov is there, too.

EDITED: Tim P. retracts that statement.

Not the most reliable but he has been right before(Versteeg) and I think he called Voracek/1st for Carter, but IBN just said 90% chance JVR is dealt at the deadline for a Dman+. Take it for what it's worth.

I don't know about the Versteeg trade, but Voracek and a 1st was reported the ransom for a while if the Flyers were gonna trade him to Columbus I believe

Voracek + 1st for Carter was rumored originally something like 6-8 months before it actually happened.

I honestly thought the same thing but I remember a few weeks ago when people were talking about his credibility, they proved that he was the first to call the players involved. I hope he's wrong unless it's a pretty substantial "+" to Schenn or Jack Johnson. I think it would be pretty dumb to trade JVR right now. I am assuming he's not talking about Suter because we'd have to add more.

Even before HFBoards did?

Consider me skeptical.

Thank you for confirming this. I thought I was positive just had a little doubt in my head. ICB makes fun of other people feeding of other twitter accounts, but he does the same thing.

I told this story before but he once said that Chris Campoli was traded to the sharks, and it was a done deal according to his source. Well later it comes out that a fake twitter account started that rumors and Bob tweeted that as well. In doing so though he revealed his "source" was another twitter account. So he is a fraud. When it comes to hockey at least. He also doesn't work for any organization like ESPN, who makes their reporters first report to them and then to the public. So he might be the first to break it, but not the first to know about it because of other peoples employers.
