Gomez with the game winner.
Pacioretty with the hat trick.
3rd straight win for the Habs.

Loving this.

Add a Markov and a Gionta, sign/trade/draft a big center, and restructure the 4th line with some big bodies, and this team will be ready to challenge for the division and even the conference lead.

Its funny sometimes.

They got weird opinions.

They are 100% sure DD is our best player...
And that plekanec is really really under DD...
Yet they have the same point total and Plek is more useful.

I know I couldn't believe it when I heard that.

Now the way they talked (mainly Bergeron), I'm not sure if they grasp tough minutes (the DD>Plek I've heard all year makes me believe they don't but you never know) all that much or they just know Plek is great defensively.

Sadly for Plekanec, if they don't want to split the Patches-DD-Cole line, having Plek "carrying" (well not that much carrying since they aren't awfull defensively but you get what I mean) wingers in hard matchups might be the only way to not make the rest of the lineup weak as hell while still giving Eller linemates to devellop his overall game in a softer minutes role. (meaning: not first lines matchups)

AK could go there ahead of Darche tough. Hell with Gomez instead of Moen this could make a pretty stong tough minutes line that can still generate offence. Bourque-Eller-Leblanc can probably do the job has an offensive soft minutes line for the rest of the season.

Now ranked at 5th in the league in ES goals and most importantly (showing it's no fluke) 7th in the league in shots. Can't wait till he actually get used where he should on the PP (wich is same place as last year). I love Timmins.

92-93 we had four. Mind you half of the NHL had 30 that year...

Man we had a good young team that year. Didn't realize how young those guys were. Muller was only 26. Damphousse 24.

I remember thinking Savard was old. He was 31. Two years younger than I am now. Sheesh.

Still can't believe they allowed that goal. It was clearly a high-stick. Also the puck had a descending trajectory from above the crossbar.

Can't believe they reviewed it for only 12 seconds.

That's the ONLY way it could have been given that it went over Price's shoulder which was, what, 3 " or so below the crossbar.

And if it happens this season in a low scoring (overall) NHL, then remember that DD was just incidental to this once every 15 year or so event in Montreal
