I think the height is the bigger exaggeration.

I can't remember the last time we had this many pages on a GDT....

Was fun and entertaining to watch the game with you all. Thanks for the great night.

Going to the game on Saturday! Won't be here but may make a post on here off my phone!

Night fellas!

Yeah, they are all legs and core. You can't really be a professional athlete with the frat star work out plan (huge chest and arms)

Ugly game for the Blues tonight. You can really tell we have a lot of players out with injuries. Pietrangelo, Carlo, Stewart among others all had awful giveaways. Grachev skates like Arnott and he's practically half his age. On the plus side, Perron is starting to heat up and is getting back to where he was pre-concussion. I really thought he would break out for 40 last year!

Yea i used to read the GTD after all the games (much more of a lurker than a poster) and they used to me a nice managable 5-6 pages total.

16 pages tonight. Took me forever to go through haha

Pietrangelo had 3 noticeable, bad giveaways tonight, 2 of which were completely avoidable, but he actually played one of his better games tonight. He controlled gaps excellently and he controlled and transitioned zones well. His overall possession game, despite 3 big negative points, was still well above average.

I'd label this as one of his better games.

Stewart, I'll give a pass tonight because he scored a momentum changing goal but also had a brutal no-clear/turnover leading to one of theirs. Had an assist and also a nice backcheck on Parise in the third I believe, and was pretty decent early in the first. One of his better games but still need more.

Sobotka was good tonight, didnt really do anything great, just really gained zones well.

Jackman and Polak were just steady steady tonight. Only one play in the third where Jackman should have had a clear but got caught and turned into a grade B scoring chance; only negative in their game for me tonight.

Backes, nothing to say, didnt have a great, dominant game but was still a beast and the best forward for St.Louis.

Kris Russell, for all my hate for him, I still question if he is an NHL caliber defenceman, but he had a good, steady, solid game in limited minutes I thought. Giving props where props are due.

Halak was bad, period. He's been great recently but he was flat out atrocious tonight.

Colaiacovo didn't have a good game either, but wasn't terrible. Got burned by Henrique for a grade A scoring chance and some minor mistakes but still alright, I'll give him a pass.

Oshie wasn't very good, he needs to be better

And synthol injections, which are just nuts. Not sure if talking about that would be within the rules though.

Probably best just to stay focused on the game.

I didn't think the Blues played too terrible considering all their injuries. Whenever they get more than 2 goals it's a good game in my book. A shootout win is just fantastic. Shootouts still suck though.

How about this Chris Porter guy? PPG and +4 in his last 4 games and doesn't seem to be slowing down any. Love the way he is battling hard along the boards, and contributing lately...hopefully he can keep it up.

I seriously hope you guys don't get stuck with that moniker the way the Devils have. They have such a mediocre defense now and play a very offensive style, even on the PK, and still can't shed it. They will forever be the boring trapping team that ruined hockey (the one that gave up 4 3rd period goals to the Flyers and still won 6-4). It gets tiresome having to hear that over and over.

Don't bother coming to our board then We somehow over-filled a GDT (41 pages) and are halfway through the Post Game Thread (19 pages) for a non-divisional, non-conference opponent that I wouldn't consider a rival at all...
