If the system was such a problem. Players like Penner and Stoll in (Contract years). Would be asking for trades out of LA.

Cause it is running any value those guys have. Penner especially. By staying in this system Penner is costing himself Millions on his next contract.

Ditto for Stoll. Maybe those two guys just don't care.

But Jack wouldn't have signed here probably. Drew would have wanted a trade as well.

I think it's more than just X's and O's.
This isn't basketball. Players can't just ask to be traded because they don't like the system.

In Murray's system, you throw everything at the net. That's why ALL the Kings players are constantly taking bad angle perimeter shots. I don't know why Kopitar gets blamed for it when every player on the team is doing it because that's what they've been instructed to do.

The Kings have one of the worst offenses in NHL history. I guess the Kings system, and the fact that they have no 2nd or 3rd lines has nothing to do with it. Blame the guy who is the only player that's been able to maintain a reasonable amount of production for it.

It is the system, the flaw is that our perimeter formation is pointless to a team with talented players, if you have talented players, all you should ask is backchecking and let talent and chemistry run the offense, only time you should have such a structure on offense is when you have pure snipers or a team with no talent, we dont have snipers but we have talent, the structure makes players too focused on D, if the kings had a structure which allowed to be more worry free, they'd focus on developing chemistry because of offensive freedom, our offense just skates to designated board play areas and cant create anything, they should be skating around, swarming the zone, because we have talent, and who cares if its risky, if you score more goals, it wont be a problem

Scott Gomez had as many goals as the Kings tonight.

It's actually more Kompon's system than Murray's or Sutter's at this point. Hopefully this will get fixed next season. He is the guy in charge of offense, not just PP.

the reason we blame Kopitar cause he's our top guy, and when he does it, it's just more noticeable.

The Kings have like three good passers. (kopi, Richards, Drew).

I like Williams but for every good pass he makes (there are five bad ones).

It's hard to make cross seam passes when you have three guys that can do it above average.

Sure is. I was one of the people that wanted him gone after his contract expired. I was blinded by his lack of speed. He wasnt shiney enough. Lesson learned... Imagine Zues instead of Stoll. If Stoll didnt win us so many games through the shoot out last season things might have been different

We have good passers, but developing better passing comes with chemistry, and in order to gain chemistry you have to have a run and gun system like the flyers, If we had a system like the flyers we'd score a lot more, we have better defense and goaltending than the flyers, we need to swarm, develop chemistry at the cost of more turn overs, but with quick, he can swat those down, but we will bury alot more too.

What ever happened to cycling?
I wonder how Frolov is going. Even though he couldnt score damn he could cycle and hold onto the puck. I feel I need to admit I have been drinking thus all the emotional panda ****

Sutter didn't even seem too upset in the post game presser. I guess it's no big deal.

Heck why should the players care then.

Scuds was benched as well in the third. Interesting.

It's nice to Bernier's stats improving. His save percentage over the last 4 games is over 93%.

His stats for the season are .900 SV% / 2.57 GAA

So I'm not the only one to think of Froloaf tonight? I wanted the guy gone so badly when he was here but now I want him back over the likes of Lewis, Richardson, Hunter,Westgarth, Fraser, Stoll, and Penner. Yeesh can't believe I just said that.

But damn, we are a black hole, all the talent that comes to the kings dissappear, i cant recall a player from another team coming to the kings and putting up better numbers. lol sad. If crosby was on the kings he'd average 15 goal seasons.
