With Stirling fired from the Isles, what will be the next team to fire there head coach? St Louis Chicago?
I don't think Yawney (spelling?) in Chicago is going to get the boot, he's a great hockey stratagist. However, I think a dark horse to get canned could be Martin with Florida, who could be replaced by George Kingston who is more of a teacher than Martin is. They could go that direction if they come to their senses and trade away some older players for younger ones at the deadline...if they're really out of it that is.
Agree. I think it'll happen sooner than later.
But Yawney and Kitchen will stay where they are. Everybody knows that their teams are not good, so no one will help them as of right now. Especially with the situation in St.Lousi. I believe Kitchen is pretty safe there.
If Mike Kitchen got fired, the organization would have to pay him the rest of this year's salary and then pay someone else to do his job. Bill Laurie isn't about to let Larry Pleau spend unnecessary money, even if the new coach offered to do the job for $1.
Kitchen should probably go given how he's (mis)handled the team this year, but he won't get canned.
