I am quite happy, he's FINALLY getting something done about this... considering this seems like it has been going on for a long period of time.

hopefully he'll be back for the playoffs, and close to 100%.

part's of me Datsyuk should sit as well for his wrist... since he's been playing injured for the past 5 or so games.

For all of the flak he's got, still impressive he's on pace for 16 goals while playing through the injuries.
Indeed.

I actually think it is good he gets some rest.

They were waiting to come home, I know they discussed doing it already on the road trip. It didn't stop him from playing games or anything like that before, but it obviously became a bit worse last game.

People need to realize that hockey players don't sit out with soreness. If it was in the playoffs he would play through it. Not to mention Cleary is rarely ever 100%, only has one 80gms+ season. Why would anybody want Cleary sit out anyway? Perfect 3rd line plugger that can chip in with offense and also does a little bit of everything.

I really hope for his overall health and longevity, he gets it scoped. The way he works, and works his rear off, he's going to periodically need that done. The arthritis won't go away, if that's what it is causing the cyst, and like already mentioned, it'll get progressively worse over time.

Going back to the beginning of the season, he was ailing, and now this issue. I hope he takes the time, and they let him get healthier before the playoffs. He's just so competitive, and such a warrior, he might be his own worst enemy wanting to return too soon. Now's the time to use all that depth we have to allow "Dan the Man", to get as close to healthy as he can. He's too valuable not too.

Did you see the hit he took yesterday where his chest or ribs flew right into the opening in the doorway to the bench? He might be hurt somewhere else and is just going to rest his knee now that hes banged up all over, could be worse than what we think.

I aslo think it is his upper body. And he reallyl needs the rest.

He had issues with his upper body right at the beginning of the season didn't he? Something was ailing him, causing him some issues, that much is known.

Yeah, he had an upper body thing, but it was also something that (reportedly) would take a certain amount of time to heal regardless of whether he played or not, and that he could play through.
