Im surprised to see many people would want to come to Montreal! With all the media pressure and fickle fans that boo you at the drop of a hat not to mention crazy taxes that make you lose like half your salary... oh and its cold in the winter.
On the other hand, if youre good, very good, you are a god here.
Toronto- My team, my home.
Columbus- For some reason I love that organization.
Carolina- Treat the players right.
Boston- Original Six, and I like the city
NYR- Original Six, huge media city
Detroit- They like their hockey, and it's close to Canada.
Chicago- Original Six and the fans will rally around anyone who can bring that disgrace back to respectability.
Minnesota- Nice place
LA- nice place
Anaheim- nice place
Florida- nice place
Tampa- nice place
Dallas- Seem like good people.
Colorado- runnings out of reasons...
Phoenix- running out of good reasons...
I'd avoid signing with the Isles, the Sens, and the Habs. But if I had to play for any of those, it'd be the Habs.
I'd do anything to be a Leaf though, league minimum, no problem.
Rangers (Big pay check possibly, great city)
Flyers (Spectacular city, perinneal contenders)
Vancouver (Beautiful city, well run organization, great potential)
Ottawa (TONS of potential, great fan base, great team, out of Toronto/Montreal scrutiny)
Dallas (Great arena, solid fan base, great city)
Not play for:
Islanders (Crappy arena, crappy area, crappy management.)
Montreal (Too much media scrutinty)
Devils (Awful arena, poor fan support)
Columbus (Ohio is the most boring state in America)
Kings (Never been a fan of LA)
On the fence:
Pittsburgh (Awful city, but they have tons of FRANCHISE potential for the future and great fans)
Miami (It's Florida. But it's the Panthers.)
Edmonton/Calgary (Great franchises, boring areas)
