on a side note. Stoll better be ****ing healthy by the deadline, otherwise he has truly been the biggest waste of a player this entire season.

It was bad the first game back, but he has been pretty good the last 2. Not amazing but definitely serviceable in a bottom pairing. Hopefully a lot of teams are seeing that.

I JUST thought about this part as I walked away from my computer with fury and came back to post it

Makes sense, though we'll just have to wait and see. I bet King looks better this time around in the right role.

We all know what AMart brings. But do other teams? Time for a good showing and maybe someone realizes what most of us see in him and thats a good PMD who is just stuck behind a bunch of players.

I hope King and Nolan are wizards, its the only way you can bring a dead team back to life.

In the right role..I think King is going to be really good. He's a big kid, he's physical. He CAN score some. He's a good 3rd-4th line player. I honestly would take him over Richardson on the right wing right now.

As much as I like the heart of Richie....he gets swatted off the puck in the corners. Not exactly the bottom pairing guy who will "wear down" opponents...at least physically.

If anything the Bottom 6 just got a lost nastier if both of them suit up for Saturday. NYI is a pretty physical team.

I am calling the Nolan-Martin fight already.

Maybe so they could call up 2 forwards since we have so many D up right now? Also, don't forget, they're in NY, so it's a chance to have Voynov play a few games in Manchester this weekend while we can get a look at Nolan/King on Saturday and in practice. It also gives Martinez and/or DD44 time to play. I'm not saying I agree with Voynov being sent down, but it might not be permanent. He might be right back with the team after the road trip/weekend.

This post is full of logic. I like.

King has been really good for Manchester. Remember they've struggled this year and this guy just seems to be doing so well for them.

I can't really post too much more on how I feel that isn't in your post except for that I think people will fall in love with Nolan very fast. He can fight but he actually plays hockey and I'm not sure if Westy does that or not.

Wonder if Ted will come see his boys debut if he plays on Long Island. Kinda funny considering his past there.

Problem is now who takes over as the 2nd line LWer? I don't want King in that role and that basically leaves us Lokti, Clifford, or Richardson and I think all are terrible options.

King played one game with Richards in the pre-season and had good chemistry and Daryl and Nick commented on it on the radio side...the problem is ideally a Williams or Gagne would look on the other side rather than Penner.

so you get to showcase him for what 6 games? after he was inactive for like 30 games....... should have had him and vv split more playing time if you wanted to get interest in him.

Yea I think this is really going to be a rough game. Nolan King are going to play with an edge that Cliche might not have.

I am not a conspiracy therist when it comes to the trade deadline but you have got to think that bringing these 2 guys up is a chance to show others teams that they may be NHL ready.

I'm interested to see what the lines are going to look like now.

Voynov won't be down for long. He was waiver exempt and they want to get a look at these two young guys.

As for Nolan and King, big opportunities so we'll see how they pan out. Both are big and Nolan is a pretty tough bird, so the team just got grittier.

Moves won't matter much unless more pucks go in the net...

Brown - Kopitar - Williams
Penner - Richards - Loktionov?
Clifford - Lewis - Richardson
King - Fraser - Nolan

Nah more a case of the Kings not carrying 8 d-men and deciding to go with one of King or Nolan (whichever looks better in practice) in Stoll's spot each game... Voinov was the only real option to send down since he doesn't need to clear waivers like A-Mart or Drewiske... He'll be back and everyone knows it.

The ultimate point.

Our 1st line has been good. A little rocky lately but for the most part they do well.

That 2nd line could use a change

and hopefully the changes in grit and size in the 3rd and 4th line act as a rock getting tossed into a beehive. Just get to the front and mow people over.

Get some life in this team. They played flat as **** last night.

Maybeh.

Or just re-unite the magic of King and Kopitar...King Kopitar!

King-Kopitar-Williams
Penner-Richards-Brown
Clifford-Loktionov-Lewis
Richardson-Fraser-Nolan
