The Kings own their rights, but they are not under contract with the Kings. Since they are past the RFA contract deadline, they can't play in the NHL this year.

This is a baseball move. Put the rookie out there that doesn't understand the gravitas of the situation and wants to prove himself in the major leagues and see what comes of it.

WOW!! This should push them over the top- Richards' new line mates can't be any worse than his previous ones. Interesting to see how the PP units pan out now that Stoll's gone. Is desperation rearing its ugly head? Cause if it hasn't, it should.

Richards won't be outside of center again I bet.
I think Richardson will be in place of hunter because of the two bodies of King and Nolan..

Well that can't be any worse than what we had before.

There's no reason Penner should be in the line up though. He serves no purpose. Any callup/grinder could do the job he does.

Well I'd rather have Rick at wing than Lokti. And I'd also rather have a pylon than Richardson.

Penner has 5 goals in 43 games at 4+ million.

I can start listing off about 20 NHL'ers who make under one million with 6 goals or more.

Over/Under on Nolan getting into a scrap? He was my favorite player in preseason. Nolan and Clune are the energizer bunnies on the Kings but Clune doesn't have the size, Nolan does. I don't care if its positive or negative energy just as long as it causes the game to be more physical and wakes up the mellow Kings - Brown used to play with an edge but you only see it now and then (Ever since he became a father) Johnson came in as a monster but we know he's a *****cat. The "MF" should stand for mellow fellow. Mitchell, Richards, Clifford, all tough guys who due to injury or the new rules have lost there mean streak.

So basically he's got close to a million for each goal. Nice lol.

The organization decided to give the newcomer, Richards, a revolving door of wingers/centers. I guess it was time to let Kopitar go.

Cliche has to clear waivers and kozin is 5' 8", king has size and has been using it to his advantage lately, certainly wasn't earlier in the season though. Looking forward to seeing the boys play tomorrow afternoon.

MATHIEU PERREAULT
DEREK DORSETT
CARL HAGELIN
JOEY CRABB
T.J. GALIARDI
ERIK CONDRA
TIM BRENT
TIM STAPLETON
NATE THOMPSON
NICK JOHNSON
BENN FERRIERO
CORY EMMERTON
FRANS NIELSEN
BRAD WINCHESTER
MATT MARTIN
ANTHONY STEWART
DAVID DESHARNAIS
DREW MILLER
JAMIE MCGINN
COLIN GREENING

There's plenty more...

Penner should be moved ASAP for anything of value. If not, he should be benched.

I have a feeling, that the new 2nd line will suck even more. So basically you have only one line that is somehow consistent.
