At the beginning of the year, I think we had a thread for claiming GDT's - should we get that going again?

That's cool - sounds kinda like Beck meets War meets RHCP. Funky.

Somebody mentioned in the Caps Post Game thread that Pavs has only allowed 43 goals last 21 starts. Really exciting to watch him on the roll he's on, the guy is playing like an absolute beats every night. If we can go into Pittsburgh and steal one tomorrow then Pavs has to be key. When we consider an offensive explosion to be 3 goals for in a game then Pavs is under that much more pressure, no different tomorrow vs Malkin and co.

They are sort of more of a blues/r&b band.

I bet few here have this this; Trombone Shorty is an incredible band if you are open to anything other than standard commercial music...

Honestly, I watched the game yesterday and I could not believe that they were so horrid at anything to do with the puck. They couldn't make or receive a pass, they couldn't get it deep, they couldn't stickhandle or shoot. They looked EXTREMELY nervous. They need some confidence.

I think they need to score a couple of goals early and then keep their foot on the pedal.
This. The Jets play a vastly different game when scoring one or two quick goals in the first ten minutes of a game. I'm positive the game plan works much better when they score first; moreso than any other team I've watched this season.

Whether this a qualifiable statistic or not I'm not certain, but my perception is that, win or lose, they play much more confident if scoring first, and in the first period.

Although to give the team credit, last night the Jets seemed to be improving as the game went on, and it seemed as though Ovechkin's cross-bar ringer lit a fire under their butts.

Seems to me that Jets fans are taking over their GDT.

So obviously this year because the schedule was sorta made last minute the Jets didn't have a chance to host this game at home vs another canadian team. That being said next year who would you like to see the Jets play at the MTS Center? of all the canadian teams who would you like to see? and we can even throw in a wildcard of Quebec City for fun

if the Canadian content sticks at 7 teams, then who gets left out of the all-Canada day? I honestly woudln't mind if it was Winnipeg, and instead of another Canadian team, it was Minnesota.

If we can beat Washington when half our team has the flu, with no scoring touch, IN Washington where they almost never lose and with Bogy hardly able to hold his stick, how do the Pens even stand a chance against us? I know where my vCash is going.
