They will soon need to resign all their stars to big contracts when ELCs are up, no need for him or his contract

That won't be an issue if Tavares' new deal is the benchmark. Hall+ RNH currently have cap hits around 3.9m so 1.5 isnt a big deal. 4+ for Eberle wont hurt either

Why? Edmonton gives up Blain ,and Tuohimma who easily have the most upside(especially Blain) for AHL'ers

Oilers have Eberle, they're fine without Jeff.

Carter will not get a lottery pick when he is traded. Columbus overpaid for him.
a lottery pick has even equal value to Voracek, a pick just outside the lottery which landed Couturier, and another pick? good to know.

I believe the point was that Carter may not be as morose and hate-filled towards Columbus in general and the Jackets in particular as some folks would want to believe.

He's being shopped, not dumped on the nearest train to Anywheresville for Gross Misconduct In Failing To Turn That Frown Upside Down.

Thanks, Howson, for cleaning up MacLean's toxic waste. Welcome, Kekalainen; let's get good things built!

Eh? DiPietro, last I checked, has never had anything resembling a questionable attitude. Questionable health and/or physical integrity, perhaps, but not attitude.
