0 shots on goal again. How much do we need a top 3 forward to take that damn puck into the zone for us?

Poor Rinne getting shelled. Half the team doesn't look like they want to be playing hockey today.

He took the draw to start the second PK, and won it. Rants based on falsehoods just look ridiculous.

I don't think its that.. its called out-skilled and out-classed.. we're a mid-tier team posing as a top-tier team. our schedule is about to murder us

Yes, and unfortunately Wilson will take the heat on it instead because he turned the puck over in the O zone, which happens with everyone. Is there a 5th line Trotz can put him on? History tells me.........

So I followed the shot counter today. We have 3 of our 6 total shots that were flip-ins from either center or our zone. So realistically we have about 3 shots on goal right now and the B's have around 15...that's not going to cut it. We can't even sustain it enough in their zone to get a shot away right now.

Suter and Weber are playing like soft small men, it's getting ugly out there.

Did we ice any forwards for this game?

Another sickening period by the Preds. Doubled up on shots and getting out hustled.

Lol no we have seen what this team can do and they can be very good. The effort is not there right now with a lot of the guys and it starts with the leaders. I'm not seeing Sutes and Webs with their hearts in the game right now. One of the worst periods I have seen in awhile.

It's one thing to lose by not playing smart but another thing to lose because of effort. The latter is just not acceptable. Hopefully Trotz is bluntly honest in the locker room.

Our top guys better step it up.

Suter and Weber with a terrible period. Sloppy play cost us a goal and had several other turnovers also.

Bad period by Fisher too. Took a penalty, then a totally stupid mistake to cost us the too many men penalty...who calls for a change, then stops to kick the puck as it's coming towards your bench after your replacement has already come over the boards? If he had been paying attention he would've leapt onto the bench and there would've been no penalty. Mental lapse that you can't see out of a veteran like Fisher. He's also a -1.

Come on guys...get it together!

He won the initial draw back to the preds side, and the Bruins still ended up with possession

Around that ... or 25% of the total PK. Maybe we should leave him out there long enough for him to make the mistake everyone is hoping for.

All he can do is win the drop, he can't do the defender's job at the same time.

With all of the focus on Smithson and Klein there are plenty of chances for Weber, Suter, and Fisher to look like crap on the PP and let Boston get as shorty.

One of the ONLY consistent PREDS to hustle an entire game is watching like we are..WHY? Agree with NNC- these "efforts" will not get anything but trouble the next couple of weeks.

oh, Suter and Weber were ridiculous on that shorty, absolutely no excuse for your captains to play like that.

Have to wonder how frustrated Halischuck is right now. What more could he possibly do to cement himself as a regular player on this team?

I wonder what justification Trotz gives him when he tells the guy he's being scratched.

101, you're cracking me up with the defense of Smitty. He doesn't have a place on this team anymore. Get over it. Having in the lineup doesn't warrant sitting Halischuk. It doesn't warrant sitting any of the youngsters. Do you think Spaling and Wilson are jazzed about having that no talent arse clown on their line today? It's like hockey purgatory being put on these guys.
