So I followed the shot counter today. We have 3 of our 6 total shots that were flip-ins from either center or our zone. So realistically we have about 3 shots on goal right now and the B's have around 15...that's not going to cut it. We can't even sustain it enough in their zone to get a shot away right now.
I don't think its that.. its called out-skilled and out-classed.. we're a mid-tier team posing as a top-tier team. our schedule is about to murder us
Lol no we have seen what this team can do and they can be very good. The effort is not there right now with a lot of the guys and it starts with the leaders. I'm not seeing Sutes and Webs with their hearts in the game right now. One of the worst periods I have seen in awhile.
It's one thing to lose by not playing smart but another thing to lose because of effort. The latter is just not acceptable. Hopefully Trotz is bluntly honest in the locker room.
Suter and Weber with a terrible period. Sloppy play cost us a goal and had several other turnovers also.
Bad period by Fisher too. Took a penalty, then a totally stupid mistake to cost us the too many men penalty...who calls for a change, then stops to kick the puck as it's coming towards your bench after your replacement has already come over the boards? If he had been paying attention he would've leapt onto the bench and there would've been no penalty. Mental lapse that you can't see out of a veteran like Fisher. He's also a -1.

and people are ripping suter/weber a new one (i always do).. ive pointed out fishers regular **** ups daily... smithson just shouldnt be in the lineup. and klein looks solid. but the game isn't over yet
101, you're cracking me up with the defense of Smitty. He doesn't have a place on this team anymore. Get over it. Having in the lineup doesn't warrant sitting Halischuk. It doesn't warrant sitting any of the youngsters. Do you think Spaling and Wilson are jazzed about having that no talent arse clown on their line today?
