I liked Brown.
I liked the second line.
I liked Quick.
I liked Drew and Mitchell (always like Willie)

The rest was awful. I'm starting to feel like even Quick can't carry this team to the playoffs, which stings.

This is the 12th straight game that there's been 5 or less total goals in a Kings game - average per game, BOTH teams = 3.58 #losangelesfc

Oh that's funny, if he is such a hard worker, why is his name getting thrown around for trades? It cant be all those turn overs, or it cant be that he has like what, only about 13 goals.

Richards looked better between the 2 rookie big bodied wingers; the line actually cycled the puck well at some points in the game
Penner wasn't dressed
Moving Richards to the point on the PP seemed to provide some spark- better movement of the puck in the offensive zone
Quick made some good saves and although the Kings out-shot the Islanders, my sense was that Quick had the more difficult saves

Bad things:
Don't like Justin Williams- is there no-body else they can try with Kopitar and Brown?
Martinez needs to do a better job on the game winner
Kings don't appear to have any-one that will go out there at a critical time and provide a spark with a fight or heavy hit- you'd think that Brown, with his size, would try something to get his guys fired up

Oh well- on to Dalles- that should be really really exciting!
Sorry if I'm nitpicking but Brown is 6'0 200 pounds, he's not exactly Lindros out there. I personally thought Brown was throwing his body around pretty hard all night.

Lol. Okay, bud. Not sure what him being thrown around in RUMORS has to do with it.

I dont know if you are aware or not, obviously you aren't, but credible sources state that brown is in for a trade. Im not saying i know these people, but if you pay attention, you'd know this too.

Maybe he was mad at himself for letting a shot go thru his legs on the ice. If he had kept his stick blade on the ice, it's a weak attempted backhand. Do the flop, you open up.

Quick deserves better than this though. Where the hell are Kopitar and Richards?!?! Nolan had a ton more chances than either of them today.

And I think (like others have said) that there's no chance in hell that Quick signs a long deal in L.A. Would you want to play behind this team every night? No way.

Until this team starts scoring, DS really should be alternating Quick and Bernier every game. The lack of goals is starting to wear on Quick - he's on his last nerve, and I don't blame him.

Start Bernier in Dallas.

The second line was nice. Richards and Nolan had good games and Nolan does remind me a. lot like Simmonds. Hopefully the kid can keep it up

And I have to be negative against Dallas? I ****ing hate Dallas.

I don't know what the Brown hate is all about, I feel like he had a relatively strong game.

Jack has fallen off man. It may be time to move him for a top-6 player, as much as I hate to say it

I don't pay too much attentions to rumors. A lot of teams would love to have Brown. He isn't going to get traded because he sucks.

Don't be so upset. I'm sure there's an Anson Carter or a Mark Parrish out there.

And I understand that we need to balance both the PP units but god damnit, Richards NEEDS to be on the same unit as Kopitar man. I don't even care about the 2nd unit, why don't they have Richards-Kopitar-Brown and Johnson-Doughty for the 1st unit. I can't wait till Kompon gets fired

I can't remember the last time a trade rumor came true. And why would it?

Just because you heard some rumor doesn't mean you are paying any closer attention than anyone else.

Well not so much this year (once that I remember) but Mike Richards is 5'9" and 198 pounds and has been known to instigate something at the right moment to get his team fired up.

The Kings are at exactly 2 goals per game under Sutter which is actually less than they scored under Murray. How sad is that?

Brown was throwing the body around all game, started a scrum, responsible for the lone goal, I don't know what is expected but it seems like scapegoating to me.

I can say one thing, if anyone thinks that AEG will just let Brown be traded, you will see that won't happen. I don't think they would give DL any rope to touch Brown, Kopi, Doughty, or Quick in a deal. If any rope for any deal at all!
