Always kills a play because of his inability to receive a pass properly. I like him when he forechecks hard and gets physical, but you never know when he's gonna play like that. I have problems with consistency in his game and I'm not talking about scoring 20 goals a year.

its likely just as much about the player. If Kostitsyn coulda had a big year instead of doing exactly what he has done for the last 3 years, he could have cashed in. If there was any year he came to play night in night out, it should have been this year.

Andrei was peg to be a star in Montreal due to some fact like being chosen 10th overall, some scout had him in the top 5. Getzlaf, Parise, Perry and few others where taken after, the year being one of the deepest hockey draft ever so on and so on.

Let's face it, most here have been disappointed and see the grass greener on the other side but the reality is they drafted him. He is a skilled winger with a wicked shot that can give you around 20 goals a year with around 150 hits that will have ups and down with some brain cramps and still somewhat green in the defensive zone. Wen you expect a ppg player with 40ish goals, well here come the disappointment. Most of us got over it 2-3 years ago but some still lingers with it.
There is a chance we lose him for nothing or get him at a discount.
