I think we should trade for Scott Gomez. He'd fit right in.

Like it or not, Brown is too good for this scoring-challenged team to trade, especially when you compare to most of the other Kings forwards.

I'm down for that too, I've been pushing for Nash. But I don't know what your beef with Stewart is, 28 goals each of the last two years and is only 24.

As of today ship Penner, Stoll out, for whatever picks you can get.
Don't do a deadline deal for any kind of rental..

Off season re-evaluate what kind of system we will run, under Sutter or under a different coach.

I think you would be able to get more for a guy like Bernier in the off season vs what you will get in a couple of weeks.

it doesnt matter what players are added or taken away from this club.

DL is the one that needs to go or be demoted to head scout. this team needs a new direction. as long as DL is in charge i wont believe in this team. he makes it too difficult

if we go into next season with DS as coach... oh man i dont even know what to type here. what im thinking is most likely to offensive and i would feel gay if i sugar coated it... =(

The Pens have 7 goals today, that's a 2 week stretch for the kings

Two shots on goal for Kopitar today. That's pathetic.

Um yeah, it may not happen but it isn't nonsense. Brown had a decent game today, but he has been shopped.

Pretty much. And Brown should learn too pass the puck. He just shoots.

Dustin Penner has scored at least 20 goals in 4 seasons, and he's only 29. You see my point? Guys like this aren't going to work in LA, we need a star, a Zach Parise, a Rick Nash. Someone to play with Mike Richards, poor guy has 2 AHLers on his wings today, and before that he had fake winger and pancake-man. Ever since Simon Gagné went down, Richards hasn't had any reasonable hockey player

Just waive them, if anything it sends a message to other players.

Plus, what teams would give up even late round picks for these two stiffs, they both deserve to be in the AHL. Maybe they could actually score down there.

Tin-Man Penner just doesn't care, no heart whatsoever.

Scarecrow Stoll is easily one of the dumbest players to ever play for this team, no game sense at all. Guy has failed at every role given to him since he got here. Sucked as a 2nd line center, sucked as a 3rd line center and sucked as a winger. Good riddance. Hope he has played his last game as a King.

That's what I was thinking...

Ya know, I've got a weird feeling that tomorrow's Dallas game will be one of the four-goal "explosions" for the Kings' offense... because that will be just enough to keep us hanging around, thinking that they've "turned a corner". Then it'll be back to four games of two goals or less in a row.

Hey my biggest issue with Lombardi is the fact that he has Richards drowning with Stoll and Penner most of the year. I'm all about Rick Nash, regardless of cap hit. But you can't say Stewart sucks just because Penner sucks, that doesn't make sense. Its not like I love Stewart, it was just an idea. He's a young proven power forward.

He may have definitely cast his lot with the wrong "leadership group".

Tell me were you predicting this kind of mediocre performance by the forwards prior to the season? I doubt you saw this coming.

When your "best players" don't have the guts to be your best players, it's a problem.
