Exactly, Habs can tank even if they win all of the remaining games vs the Leafs and the Bruins.

Can't wait to see Komisarek destroy Tucker, or Kovalev destroy Tucker, or Bouillon destroy Tucker...

Last Saturday the Habs were 11 pts from 8th. This Saturday and despite winning 3 in a row, we are still 9 pts from 8th. At that pace, it would take 5 more weeks to finaly reach the 8th seed in the East ...

... if we were to win them all.

Bouillon's a UFA this summer, we should sign him.

Habs 3 (Desharnais, Bourque, Plekanec)
Leafs 2 (MacArthur, Liles)

Habs will finish 9th or 10th. Trade the pick for Jeff Carter.

And I'm not.

It was just to point out how slow it takes to decrease the gap between us and the 8th spot. It is not because you start winning most of your games in mid February that you will magically reach 8th one month later.

The Leafs suck at pregame ceremonies.
This Mats Sundin thing is going to be BRUTAL. Can't wait to watch the awkwardness and pathetic attempt at a love-in. The atmosphere at the ACC must be one of the worst in all the NHL.

22 games in the East, and only 5 vs the west...huge hole, but they can still make some noise against the Leafs and Sens...even if they don't make it...

Just a reminder that one picture posts are still considered spam on HF. Nobody wants to get an infraction for something that stupid, and no moderator wants to be 'that moderator', so do us a favor and cut it out

I want us to win tonight and then another ten in a row. Meanwhile Ottawa Washington Toronto et al. slump. So we squeak into the playoffs. Then Price goes to god mode and we win the Stanley Cup thanks in large part to Gomez netting a record number of game winners.

That's all.

Last time I did that it on the B's board, it didn't go over very well here... maybe things are different now?

Give me the green light, and I'll do it...

It's our future on the line guys.

I'm torn between beating those most hated Leafs and that drive for 5, baby!....well.....at least the 5th draft spot and Alex Galchenyuk.

Toronto 4 - Habs 3

However, if the Habs win.....I reserve the right to get on the make-the-playoffs bandwagon.

The tank must be ignored for this game. I'd give our first rounder away to see the laffs miss.

There was a time when I couldn't wait for a Habs/Leafs game.. In the past few years though it's turned into just another meh game.. Maybe it's because the Canadian media and the CBC were constantly pushing the Leafs down our throats the past few years and I just got sick of hearing about them..

Anyway I hope the Habs show up and play hard win or lose.
