NEWS & NOTES

QUOTES TO NOTE

It’s a good feeling. Any time you get a hat trick you’re excited but especially against a team like Philly. It’s a big game.
- Ryan Callahan

The powerplay is going to be a huge thing coming down the stretch for us. Our PK is stellar. We've got to get the power play going.
- Brad Richards

We're just trying to keep the swagger on anybody we play and staying consistent with our preparation and how we play.
- John Tortorella

I predict a 2-1 win with goals from Girardi and Dubinsky.

funny thing is...Capitals scare me more than the Bruins, Devils, Penguins, or Flyers.

They just have that firepower that pushes our D back and holds us in the offensive zone for long, long, long stretches. we tend to bend, and eventually break under sustained pressure.

I would prefer if the Capitals won the division so we have a chance to play Florida in the 1st round.

Let's make it 3 in a row.

Richards, Gaborik, and Nash score.

They're on OUR turf now. Give 'em payback for that last performance in Washington.

Win this, and we take a HUGE lead for first. Especially if they also beat the Bruins. Holy ****, that would be glorious.

Another big game, 60 minute effort and we'll win this one. 7 point lead on the Bruins would be terrific.

I'm probably in the minority, but wouldn't it be a good idea to start Biron tomorrow? Hank has two tough games in the Bruins and Hawks after tomorrow and he already played a bit of a tough game today against the Flyers.

No.....Effing....Way.

Just my 2 cents...but I'd play Henrik for all 3 of these games.

They've put up quite a few memorable performances in their Heritage jerseys. I just love the way they look. So smooth.

I love Marty, and I think he's a good back up, but he's been playing a tad too much for my liking.

Agreed, Hank should get all 3 of these major games.

And man, we could sure use a Columbus type of game. Some tough ones recently, even teams like Tampa and Washington are exceedingly dangerous.

It's just not the same twithout Donut as their coach. A win would still be sweet. Here's hoping BR stays on track. It's going to be a tough one.

I know. We can't mock him
Even though we lost game 4, the atmosphere during that game was something to behold.

amen. he hasn't even been a shadow of himself since his return. maybe it would have been better to shut down for the rest of the season and get 110% healthy and start next season fresh... he hasn't been terrible, but also not good... Go Staalsy, Go Rangers!

Agreed. These next few games are where we have the oportunity to take a HUGE lead in the stadings. We win today and more importantly tuesday agaist Boston and we will have a comanding lead that will help us if we hit a rough patch here or there.
