I think Staal hadd a pretty good game vs the Flyers. He's slowly getting there. If he's symptom free, I see no reason why he should be sidelined for the remainder of the season.

Keep matching him carefully and we might have the Staal we know and love back for the post season.

Love having Hagelin and Cally on the same line their tenaciousness is second to none and callahans got a decent amount of finish. At the same time Boyle is playing his best hockey of the year and the GAS line is filled up again now that Artie has his head back on straight. I'm hoping we win all three of these damn games and go on another 5-7 game win streak

Feels like it has been awhile since we played the Caps, but I suppose we had one around the New Years. A Marty Biron loss.

Nothing if not a cluttered rest of leap year February for the Rangers, Who really with their 2-3 games in hand on many clubs are going to have a real possibility to solidify any sort of President's trophy ambitions that they choose to follow. If 0 interest in that, then let Boston's proximity and jersey's recent hot streak be a motivator to sstay ahead of the game in the Eastern Conference.

53 games in. Still can't believe we're in the position we're in.

Agreed. Been waiting for the bottom to drop out for weeks now. Wondering if they'll be able to find another gear in April.

Not surprising, but:

Same lineup for Rangers. Lundqvist in net, Bickel as a fourth-line forward.

If I remember correctly, didn't NBC games on Sunday used to start at 3? Nonetheless, love that it's on NBC, gives it a more exciting, playoff like feel

This is a potential playoff matchup so we really need to instill some fear in the Caps. They beat the Rangers last time so this time the Blueshirts really need to take their game to the Caps.

I'm confident we are going to bring it to them. They made us look bad at the Verizon center last time with Biron in net. It's time for Lundqvist and company to step up at MSG, show the Capitals why we are the #1 team in the East, and establish superiority over them.

I fully expect we will be able to establish that too. Anything less than that, than Tortorella didn't do an adequate job prepping his team for the game. They should be pumped for a chance to pulverize the Capitals on home ice. Cooking on all cylinders today boys. LGR.

Not me. I want to go through the Devils and Flyers.
I want the Bruins to go through the Habs and Pens.
Then we crush the Bruins in 6, and beat the Wings in 7.

Is Tom Poti ever going to suit up for the Caps again? He's been injured forever.

If I remember correctly, it's a dislocated purse. Those take time to heal.

We played them twice, both in Washington, so this is 1 of 2 home-games left. We won 6-3 in november and I feel a similar score is in store for us tonight!

Gaborik, Hagelin, Richards, Stepan to score

I just want to see our guys showing up for the game, if they do that, we are better than Caps and should therefore win. I can sense Hank having a massive game!

Bickel playing up front is odd. Love the versatility, though.
